Al Groh's Jets beat a terrible bears team with Shane Matthews at QB in 2000. I believe that was the last time and that wasn't even an accomplishment, Shane Matthews was horrible
I thought the rest of the OP was going to say ..............at a Top 10 pick. Instead, @BuddyRyans46 made a nice thread. Good luck to you too. I think the Jets can win and at least keep it close, if Darnold comes out firing. Something tells me he will.
One thing about the Jets and their history is that they have often lost games they are supposed to win and win the games they are supposed to lose. Defense will need to force a couple of key turnovers to keep this one close.
oh come on guys, it was hardly a blow-out. It was only 7-3 at the Half, and then 17-10 in the 4th quarter. It was a competitive game. Don't sell yourselves short.
This is the sad part,,,,,had we been better coached today as bad as we played and looked we could have beaten your Bears. We were in this game but there were no wrinkles no adjustments the game plans was vanilla on both sides of the ball
If we had Q or Anderson i think we could’ve won this game. Our offense was extremely vanilla and our poor coaching showed. I believe when injuries occur you see the true skill of a coaching staff. There was nothing creative about our offensive playcalling.
No it’s mass hysteria here because they were supposed to go 14-2 this year because were clearly a playoff caliber team lol.
Yeah, the Jets were 9 point favorites here even with guys off the street playing. Fucking catastrophe.
