Because we'll get an excellent draft pick, right? No. Because the Jets are a shit organization that deserves to lose. Why root for this garbage? Why even discuss it? The Jets continue to make money, and will continue to do it until the NFL eventually puts their money into a different enterprise and the football enterprise folds. They'll skip off to more billions and you'll be sitting there thinking WTF. I know everyone on this forum thinks that "someday the Jets will have their day." Your dream is telling the haters they were wrong. YOU were the guy that BELIEVED. That's not going to happen. You will buy jerseys and tickets and TV subscriptions for years, with that carrot hanging in front of your face. Then the game will become obsolete, team owners will have leveraged their money into some other product, and you know what you'll be? The ultimate losers. Stop wasting your money on a product that has been making itself obsolete. The only person your loyalty matters to is you. Your team owner cares more about being accepted by his billionaire peers than actually having a winning football team. This is a pile of dogshit with a logo on the side of it's helmet. And has been since 1969. This investor will enjoy their failure. The Jets suck, and I'm going to enjoy it. I hope they stretch it out for a while, too.
I wish my dad never introduced me to this stupid fucking sport and his dumb abominable football team Fuck you, Dad
We as fans should try to set an all-time record low attendance for Jets vs. Bills in game 16. Do it, fellas. And let's make the low ticket prices on Stubhub go viral this time. Not like it'll matter to Woody, bathing in his millions. It won't bring about any change. But.... Embarrass him for the sake of doing it.
Hey did you guys know that Clorox is an official sponsor of the Jets? Found that out at tonight's game, which I received free tickets to
I was in a car accident today and was in the hospital and getting morphine so I didn't get to watch the game tonight. I am going to send flowers to the lady that hit me. I know I'll never stop being a Jets fan but maybe I'll just get lucky and have more car accidents.
My dad took me to a Titans game back at the Polo Grounds... 55 years later, I'm still here. I guess we could call it "55 shades of dark green".
This is the only way. Woody's cash cow still gives milk and will continue to as long as we buy jersies, gear and most of all tickets. I agree, lets hope for attendance to be so low that even the multi-colored chairs in the stadium can't mask it.
He will probably get government subsidies if his attendance is too low, and he really won't care then.
You know, I never really had a problem with Woody Johnson until this year. Is this catastrophe his fault? I don't know. He is the owner though and it damn sure is his responsibility. Unforgivable. Then there is this tweet from Damian Woody. Hey @NFL...I'm so serious when I say this....don't put the Jets in primetime until they've got their s*%t together! Ok? Ok...
Fuck this noise. You pansies need to gird your loins. So the Jets blow? So what else is new? Anybody that openly roots for the Pats or the Bills is a full on cocksmoker. Fuck em. Go Jets.
I don't have that big of an issue with Woody, he spends the money and he tries to give the fans what they want. In 16 years of ownership he still has not learned to put together an organizational structure that reflects good football operational practices. I look at the Giants, Pitt, Ravens, Pats, Seahawks, packers, these organizations stay away from gimmick players like Tebow, they don't bring back old players. Their draft philosophy does not change, is it really that hard for Woody to establish this type of structure? Build from the trenches out, sign FA to fill key skilled positions, and stick to one scheme, a balanced offense and either a 3-4 or 4-3 defense. Maybe they do need a president of football operations that gives the marching orders to the GM and in turn hire a HC that can carry out their vision. Greaser, I really don't know what the answer is. I'll tell you this, it's my team and I will root for them till I'm 6 feet under.
