Which of these two would you prefer?

The "franchise QB" or a mere offensive linemen.

Please don't insert your own third option.

After Young and Leinart i dont see anyone else in the draft being a future franchise qb.I hope if they choose Cutler i am proven wrong.

I think if Chad Pennington or even Brooks Bollinger can gt the job done as long as they offensive line can protect them. I hope Chad Penningtonn comes back healthy, but they do not know yet. Keep in mind that, when Chad Pennington took over for Vinny Testeverde he had an offensive line, a running back, and receivers. Brooks Bollinger played well in my opinion considering he had no offensive line and no running game.

The credit assigned to Croyle is a bit of an overstatement. We will probably be able to get both of those guys.

Brooks Bollinger is not an NFL quaterback he would not even make anyother team in the league.Ive seen high school quaterbacks better than him.

Can someone explain to me why Brooks Bollinger is so bad. I think he did alright considering he had no offesnve line o rrunning game.

It should be something like Croyle vs Daryn Colledge. I wouldn't expect you not to post stupid trash, but that's what it should be.

Did you watch the same Jets games i did.I saw a flimsy kid trembling on every snap. He bobbled many snaps, threw numerous underthrown and overthrown balls.could not move the offense 2 yards at times made some bad mistakes and most importantly struggled in the huddle where his team needed him most.

He improved as the year went along. He showed guts on the field, running for his life and still making some plays. Hes learning, he is going to be better. I heard alot of positive things about him from his offensive teamates and even his opponents.

I agree with you there. Hey, look, I'm not saying the Bollinger is a bona fide' NFL starter. All I'm saying is that he is a gutty kid with some tools who would make a good #2 and could be a cheap stop-gap for us if we draft a franchise QB at #4.

Can't Vote because he is the last QB I would want us to draft and no way should we draft an OT at #4.

    Should have given more choices.

answer me this is Bollinger under contract? and for how long? and how much? If we draft Cutler we go with Bollinger until Cutler is ready. My only fear is that when will he be ready.Cutler reminds me of Rothlesburger

Don't be silly. We can only draft offensive linemen. If we don't spend every single draft pick for the next 100 years on offensive linemen, we will never win more than 2 games per season, and giant bolts of lightning will strike from the heavens, and damn us all to hell for the rest of eternity.

    It's just a fact. CUTLER SUX!111

im not huge on brooks, but i mean give the kid a break. he played behind a patchwork line (at its best) and no running game at all. he got no protection from the o line more often than not. id like to see any qb have solid throw after solid throw when on the 3rd step of the drop theres a LB ot DE on u. not going to happen.

it makes no sense to pick between croyle and ferguson considering theyre not in the same range of picks. if we actually wanted both, it could conceivably happen
