He's been available all this time. He completed 66.4% of his passes in college in time to an 88/16 TD/INT ratio along with an additional career 57 touchdown runs.

We traded for him once, but it was the wrong time and place. Now five years older and more mature, he's still only 30 years old.

He's also 8-6 in his CAREER as a starter (1-1 in the playoffs, including an 80 yard TD pass to win a Wild Card game). That would make him the winningest quarterback in terms of winning percentage we've had on the roster since Chad Pennington.

    Whose with me?

    SIGN. THIS. BEAST.

Imagine how many journalists would be hit on the sideline if he was competing with Hack for the job.

    I don't know.

He sounds good on paper, but I need to see him with his shirt off.

    Preferably jogging in the rain.

Great competitor and a winner. Never got to see the finished product, unfortunately.

I think he has been harshly treated and what we did to him was disgusting tbh, I am not a religious man in the slightest but I wouldn't use that as a stick to beat a man for his own views.

Of course he was a long way from perfect but Fitzpatrick/McCowan/Orton etc have bummed around the league for how long making a comfy living, are you telling me that Tim Tebow couldn't have done a job for some team given the number 1 QB roll.

I have always felt a bit sorry for the guy, he seemed a genuinely nice guy who just wanted to live his dream and for all those haters at least he did to a certain point, his stats suggest he wasn't given a chance due to other influences rather than football ability.

I think it was the drama Tebow brings with him that teams didn't want to be bothered with.

I never understood this. What baggage? What drama? His ‘problem’ was being a nice man. Other people added the drama. Also, if Colin Kapernick deserves another shot, so does Tebow. I’d say they both got screwed because of their beliefs.

I think it had more to do with the fact that he was a horrible passer

Ever hear of Tebots? It was Tebow's following and the tebowmania. Some organizations just don't want to be bothered. Woody Johnson learned that lesson the hard way with his "you can never have enough Tebow" statement. Regarding Kapernick, again the drama factor comes to mind. It was the same with Vick too. Not all publicity is good and teams learned that lesson. Kapernick won't play another down in the NFL mainly because he's made too many enemies in ownership circles. They view him as the instigator of all of this protesting. The owners don't want to stand for anything except profits and anything they see interrupting that stream is a threat that needs to be dealt with.

For the most part, the "Circus" era of the NFL is over.

Tebow is playing baseball now for a reason and it isn't that he's a good baseball player.

Kaepernick did this to himself. If you want to be a controversial cause-celebre you'd better be good and his play deteriorated badly over the last two years he played in the NFL. That he thinks he has an actionable case against the NFL just shows you how deluded he is about the reality of being a professional performer.
