You obviously dont know much about Fitz or how he grew up, huh?

Asked to describe Fitz: “Tough, blue-collar … that’s him in a nutshell." - Damon Harrison

Little do you know, this season was likely the peak for Rex Ryan.

Because this is what Rex Ryan does:

12 blowout lossess by 3 TDs. A 23pt loss, 35pt loss, & 20pt loss to Doug Marrone's Bills (Marrone, on the Jaguars staff, helped knock off the Buffalo Rexes again this year.)

2011 3 game losing streak to miss the playoffs in final 3 games
2012 3 game losing streak to miss the playoffs in final 3 games
2013 3 game losing streak comes early to kill playoff chances, but Rex gets to 8-8 after the schedule closes with two 4-12 teams - he's redeemed!
    2014 4-12 oh.

During that time leaks to the press blamed an OC, a DC, the new OC, the second new OC, the GM and then the second GM. So now it's, what.... injuries is it? Nice.

"He’s a lunchpail-to-work type of guy. .. I think the New York fans are gonna appreciate that. He’ll definitely be first one in the building, last out." - Ryan Fitzpatrick's father

What the hell is this stupid thread? Who cares about next year when the Jets have something to play for this year? Then again I guess if my team had nothing to play for after week 12 I'd be a little sour too.

Because he's an average QB who flamed out after being handed a big contract? You guys got burned on him, but he's in a much better situation here than any previous stop in his career and it's paid off so far. The situations are not really comparable.

You won't get the satisfaction from me. I've already pegged you for what you are long ago.

Edit: one more thing; not only has Fitzpatrick performed at a top ten level QB but Chan Gailey has been an absolute boss. I love it.
    Have fun with Rex.

Dude, Fitz' blue collar bona fides are about as real as the bolt on tits on that tranny in your avatar. No matter what people say.

Since when does working hard mean blue collar. He seems the blue collar type but in my office all the long extra hour guys are pretty far from blue collar.

I just want to get this straight.

The other 30 teams professional evaluators did not want him, because he didn't live up to his contract in Buffalo, even though he is very good and just needs a little talent around him?

    Hmm.

    Don't remind me :(

But what does that mean for the Jets if they lose to Rex ... twice?
