Yup, I was rooting for the Giants in 2008 because I didn't want the Patsies to finish 19-0 but this time it's different.

Does that mean you are rooting for NE if it's a repeat of 2008?

Giants losing next week would be like the Jets losing to the Steelers last season. Im gunna have to say this to...

    Eli > Rodgers

Proven fact today. Rodgers has time to change that but as it stands today Eli is the better QB.

how am I a clown, you want to listen to Giants fans all offseason and next year, and they year after?

either way its going to suck. Hopefully the 49ers or Ravens or both win.

Naaaaah. Rodgers had to pull a Tebow because his receivers had goat hooves for hands all night

O stop. That doesn't prove shit. Packers receivers dropped 8 passes today. Rodgers put up a season this year that Eli has never come close to touching in any statistical aspect. One game doesn't change that. Look at the entire body of work.

Yeah Rodgers fumble was his fault. ALLL his fault. Sanchez get blamed for the same crap, so will Rodgers.

And im pretty sure Eli is about to take his team to his 2nd Super Bowl, something Rodgers knows nothing about.

If it is Giants-Patriots again, you have to cheer for the Giants. Brady losing to the Giants twice in the SB would be cool. There is no scenario, except for events like Week 17 of 2002, where a Jets fan should cheer for NE.

I have an impossibly hard time understanding why any Jets fan would root for Tom Brady and Bill Belichick to win their 4th Super Bowl, even if they're playing the Giants.

I mean...it's the fucking Pats! Fuck them!

Why are you guys so confident that both NE and the Giants are winning their respective title games? The Ravens D will give Brady headaches and the Giants are playing a SF team that was the best in the NFC.

NFC Championship is in San Fran.

The 49ers are definately back. They must be feeling good, they all thought they were heading to Lambeau but now their home in the Bay area. Those fans must be feeling good right now.

Funny. Rodgers won a SB in his 3rd year starting. It took Eli 4 years. If Eli doesn't win the SB, he'll have 1 in 8 years starting, vs Rodgers 1 in 4. Unfair comparison, but if you play it like that Rodgers still comes out ahead.

And Rodgers played a lousy game by his standards, I agree with you. One game though is too small a sample size. Rodgers first 4 years starting in the pros, destroy Elis first 4 years in every aspect, no matter how you slice it.

Either way, it sucks if we're forced to see a Pats/Giants SB.

I am not. I would put some money, maybe a whole nickel, on a 49ers-Ravens SB.

You can't compare the 49ers and the Giants to the Broncos. Let's see how the Patriots do against a real opponent before we anoint them as champs.

The Pats put up huge offensive numbers last year too, but it didn't help them very much once they ran into a serious opponent in the postseason.

I hope Justin Smith puts Manning into a coma.

Not a serious one. Just... like a teeny, month long coma.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up yet, but I thought the league did a great job of NOT calling all the wussy "hitting a defenseless receiver" penalties this weekend. I know there were a few that I was waiting for the completely unnecessary flag to fly into the screen. They really let them play for the most part and kept the PI and roughing the passer flags to a minimum.

It was nice to see defense taking the stage too.
