Eagles | More on Howard Agreement
    Mon, 13 Mar 2006 05:45:07 -0800

ESPN.com's John Clayton reports free agent DE Darren Howard (Saints) agreed to a six-year, $30.5 million deal Sunday night, March 12, with the Philadelphia Eagles. Included in the deal was a $9.5 million signing bonus and a $1 million roster bonus. Howard will work on the other side of DE Jevon Kearse, giving the Eagles one of the best one-two defensive end tandems in the NFL.

I didn't know Howard was a FA, he would've been a great replacement for Abe. Really good pickup by the Eagles.
