Foles was never a bad quarterback. Getting traded to Jeff Fisher damaged his reputation but Fisher ruined many quarterbacks. Overall he was always a decent talent and still young. Maccagnan shoulda signed him instead of two less talented, washed up bums like Fitzpatrick and Mcclown
Exactly How many people honestly would have said Case Keenum was a better QB before this season started
I would've liked to have seen the Vikes in the SB because I think they have a better shot against the Pats than Philly does. The only thing I give Philly is that they don't take their foot off the gas, something you have to do when you play the Pats.
Given how they look today it seems that only home field was going to keep the Vikings in the game against the Patsies anyway. At least the Eagles will be going in with lots of confidence, and there is absolutely no question that Foles is good enough to win the game.
Eagles look unstoppable vs Vikings. Wanna bet they crp the bed vs NE? Refs will never let the other team put up 38+ on N E in SB. Would love an eagles win but it's not in the script.
Though last year if the Falcons took their foot of the gas they would've won instead of throwing on 3rd and 1 and snapping the ball with 15 seconds left on play clocks
I'm not too shocked about what's happening. The high the Vikings were on last week had to have been a distraction thru the week. You know they were thinking all week they were going to come into this game and wreck the Eagles. They weren't prepared, and it shows. The Saints deserve to be in this game, not the fraud Vikings.
Keep him as the backup. You're not getting much for him in a trade, and with Wentz getting hurt, you want to have a good emergency back-up.
Well ..the family is happy Didn't think the Eagles could pull it off but now I am A believer!! Hope the Magic continues and they bury the Patsies
This will always be the the "What If" SB. If only Wentz was healthy, I would even favor the Eagles. I still think they have a chance, but I can't see them winning a handicap match.
Idk it's a weird position to be in, like greenday said mabey you get a good draft pick for him but at the same time he just won you a super bowl then you just trade him away lol
Vikings have a real QB problem going forward - Keenum sure hasn't provided any confidence in this game that he's a guy who can lead them to the promised land. I do think they'll go with him unless they go for someone like Cousins (they have $60 million in cap room, so they can do it), but it's a real question that you don't usually see with a 13-3 team. I can't believe that they're going to franchise him, so they could end up with no one.
