Typical Cimini , guesswork made to sound like he has some real insight.

I'd rather give a contract to that Anderson guy Macc got from Indy last season. He had like 40 sacks in one game for us.

He was our best D-lineman for a lot of games this year

Reminds me of Dennis Byrd a bit. Solid find

Speculation. We don’t even know what the new coach’s grooming policy is going to be.

since 2000 our first round picks of defensive tackles/ends have been:
    • Bryan Thomas
    • Dewayne Robertson
    • Vernon Gholston
    • Muhammad Wilkerson
    • Quinton Coples
    • Sheldon Richardson
    • Leonard Williams

Robertsons knee was messed up before he played an NFL snap and we took him anyway. Dumb

Trade him to the Ravens for John Harbaugh.

Personally I want to see Leo for just one year under the new regime. He may not be Aaron Donald sure, but I suspect there may still be another gear yet.

Anderson also became a situational pass rusher, barely played the amount of snaps Leo did.

I sure hope the Jets don't hire a guy who can only manage one thing at a time. I want a guy whose fingers are in every pie on the table.

If you trade Williams, it's just another spot that needs to be filled. By all means, give the Jets an excuse to draft another 1st round defensive lineman. IMO not worth it unless you get more than a 2nd in return.

What are the odds they cut him? It doesn't look like they want to pay that $14.2 million salary for 2019 and they shouldn't.

And I can't envision this guy accepting a pay cut to help out the team.

So if they don't get any takers ...

Yeah because of defensive minded bullshit. Time to enter the 21st century Jets.

Yes! Like Byrd he never quits on a play. Plays hard to the whistle or sack!
