He is nothing more than a stat padder who will become impotent when it matters most. Nothing special about Cousins.

Hi all, I am an UL alum who has watched every College game Lamar Jackson and Teddy Bridgewater have played. Just checking in as there is a decent chance you end up with one of them for next season. I can’t give you any insight intoTeddy,s knee, but if you want to know the truth about Jackson just ask.

    I call bullshit.

If you have a top five pick and you can get one of the top two QBs go for it.

Alternatively if the draft is loaded like 1983 or the year Eli, Rivers, and Rothlisburger came out you roll the dice.

Otherwise, if you are bad enough to be in the top 10 and the top two guys are long gone you have a lot of other problems you might want to fix before taking a QB just to take a QB.

He's a fun player to watch, but I have serious reservations of his game translating well at the next level.
That being said, I may go to their bowl game in JAX to see him in person

  7. I like Jackson. I know people get scared by the mike vick comparisons..but honestly he shows alot more touch on throws, command of the offens e& maturity than Vick did at VT. Vick was just pure untapped dual threat potential ahead of its time. Jackson is much further along..maybe a notch less physical ability

  8. This isn't wrong by any means.

That said if we're defaulting on bringing in a QB b.c the cupboard is too bare, price too steep,etc...let's at least leverage the league wide QB hysteria & trade down.multiple times if possible. If we're gonna re-stock the roster at the expense of passing on a QB let's at least hedge our bet & make sure we fill a number of holes

January 10, 2016 - Write up on Kirk Cousins after they lost their home playoff game in the wild card round to the Packers.

I believe Cousins is 0-9 in Thursday Night and Monday Night games as well.

That's not who I want the Jets to eat up a large portion of their cap space for.

Head to head is not a tie breaker when i comes to draft order. Its strength of schedule. Right now Denve has a lower SOS so they pick ahead of us. We want all the teams we've played to lose so our SOS goes down

i call bullshit on your calling of bullshit

a great QB covers a lot of those deficiencies, look at Green Bay when Rodgers was out vs when Rodgers is healthy

Why don’t you just offer up the truth unsolicited? Perhaps in the Lamar Jackson thread in the draft forum

With your current coaching staff I do not blame you. Lamar is going to need a QB coach to continue his development. He will throw a laser in between 5 defenders and drop a 60 yard dime in the WRs pocket and then turn around and overthrow the HB on a wheel route because he did not point his feet at his target. He just learned to throw the ball away this season. He seems to thrive on the difficult and miss on easy completions. Most NFL LBs left to spy on him will eat dust as he can make cuts like Barry Sanders in the open field. Who ever gets him will not be bored, I can guarantee that.
