Except that if you do go 1-15 it's a pretty good indicator you have bupkus OTHER THAN the pick you'll get and one pick won't fix that. None of these kids are Peyton Manning or even Andrew Luck. If the Jets are 2-6 at the halfway point am I going to start rooting for losses, I guess...but then again if the Jets start 2-6 and then by some miracle Bryce Petty goes 6-2 in the second half and shows something? That's why I can't really get into the tank till at best the last few weeks of the season, you need to at least start seeing something from the last few years of Macc drafts before I get excited about a rebuild. Even though I DO think the rebuild is the right course of action given where we are and the behemoth in our division. Plus I am getting a bit tired of this inane 0-16 talk and being 1000-1 so far above the next team at 200-1 when the Browns are tanking too (just cut Joe Haden and let Terrelle Pryor go this offseason, after letting Alex Mack go the previous offseason) and don't get anywhere near the negative press cause people love Hue Jackson and hate the Jets. I'm surprised people aren't predicting the Jets for -1 and 17 with all the negativity around this team.
It's really gotten out of hand. Some moron tbe day of the draft said the jets have the worst talent in the nfl and it's snow balled from there. The browns are starting a rookie qb that looks not much better then hack traded there best cover guy and wr and there defense is not as good as ours but they are suppose to improve and win 5 or 6 games. It's friggin nuts.
Or the Bills will knock all our QB's out of the game, hope our O-Line isnt half as bad as they look.............
a lot of posters on this site do not realize that the last usc qb who won a championship in the nfl was tom flores. didn't we learn our lesson with the sanchise?
I couldn't agree with you more, and I live in LA, my daughter went to USC, went to a bunch of games, watch the rest, and quite frankly I have never been enamoured with their QBs. Having said that, this kid has something special, but you never know.
I doubt this team will even go 1-4, that's being very optimistic, on the Brightside we only have 15 more to lose
