i agree, just speculating how they can keep things in synch. personally i think they both stay thru 2019
You can always argue about the grocery selection but can anyone argue with getting the meat on the field in time to line up for a play every time?
No more than anyone can argue with picking a second round QB who's more likely to hit a receiver than a reporter.
Face it, drafting is barely more than semi-educated guesswork. Any GM will find a few gold nuggets in the rest of the pile of dung. At the Jets the nuggets have been smaller and farther between and the turds have just been...well, turds. The coach though, needs to do something with both the nuggets and the turds, some as simple as getting them on and off the field. There's no reason to keep a guy around who can't do even that.
Drafting a second round bust like Geno is one thing, but thinking Hack was worthy of a second rounder is another. It shows a complete lack of awareness of what makes a good QB. Also considering we didn't have any 12 men on the field problems until last Sunday, I think Petty was at fault.
nope, most of us have been screaming about the offense being late all year. most of those wasted time outs come from the play getting in too late. communication between morton and mccown, who knows the offense inside out, has been brutal. with petty it looked even worse. morton has to figure out a way to streamline the process
It was a polite way of saying that I don't want O'Brien here. Now, were he actually able to bring Watson with him, I'd welcome him with open arms. Since that's not the case, then no thanks.
Actually, 12 men on the field was called on the Jets three times in the last four games. Between illegal substitutions, illegal formations and delay of game there have been another seven penalties, at least. How many time outs were called this season because the right personnel were not on the field? All these things are directly related to bad performance by the coaching staff.
Have some fun, man! Robby and Robinson with Enunwa in the slot and ASJ. Barkley in the back field! I can dream.
Yeah but you included that guy who's name starts with an H. We need a real QB the other pieces are ok.
Well, to add to your colorful description, Mac has given us more nuggets and less turds than some previous GMs, QB non withstanding.Lee, Williams, Adams, May, Anderson MGuire to name a few. Bowles means really well, but he has allowed one too many nuggets to turn into turds after the big contracts. Some can't even be on time to a freaking meeting.
