I have watched a lot of film on Baker Mayfield lately because he is rumoured to us by almost everyone out there. He reminds so much of Johnny Manziel it’s scary. They played in a similar offence, they are similar in size and they both have a questionable immature attitude on the field. In all honesty I actually think Johnny football was more explosive when he won the Heisman over Baker when he won it last season....

I also was looking for a thread to talk about Baker Mayfield because there are none. You even came up with a cool title. Baker Football, like Johnny Football, because they are so similar. Well done! Rockinz - you should check your glasses to make sure they put the lenses in correctly and not backwards because your love for Allen - who has BUST written all over him - and hate for Mayfield - who is now rumored to go #1 to the Browns - shows that you have a very opposite view of the world.

I know how to deal with Rockinz but don’t know how to deal with people like @FJF . I am looking for a reason to ban him but he gives me nothing.

I want to like Mayfield I truly do and I think he has some awesome traits. I love his accuracy and his gamer attitude but for me it’s not enough because of what we learned from Manziel who looks like a carbon copy on the field. If you think any different you have rose coloured glasses on or have bought into the hype to a man crush level. They are as close as a comparison you can get when looking at collegiate accomplishments, physical traits, offensive system and personality.
