Dude this guy drinks too much coffee to be asleep. Look, Macc keeps a tight lid on things. I like the fact that there aren't tons of leaks like in the past. No news is good news.

Well, we just lost out on Richburg.

Must be nice to have a competent QB on your roster to attract FA's...

Shit... He was my preference. Hope they can still sign Jensen.

On the positive, this is an excellent draft for Centers. On the other flip side, they need to fill some holes in free agency

    Richburg is overrated anyway.

Give me Jensen via FA or Billy Price in the draft. Jets should be able to select Price with their 2nd round pick.

I'm not sure Mac is in a winning situation. Players don't want to play here, whether it be a perceived losing culture, instability at coaching, no good young QB and/or higher than average taxes. If he threw an absurd money at some players to get them here, he'd get ripped apart for overspending. He has to spend 89% of his cap over any 4 year period. He can use the money to re-sign some of our players and front load contracts. Once we hit on a few drafts, and players want to come here, we'll have a bigger amount of money to top off a roster that could be SB bound.

The teams that wins Free Agency don't win Superbowls. Look at the Steelers, Patriots, Giants, etc. Then again, it helps when you hit on a franchise QB.

He's been here long enough that it's his fault he is in that situation, he needs to go

Serious question. Isn't that too much caffeine for your heart?

Extremely low expectations there. The Jets have hoarded and cut players to get all this loot to spend on a center and 2nd tier CB. That will be why they are perennially bad each and every year.

  19. Just like I thought not one decent offensive free agent will consider coming here.Whats there to like other than $ & NYC?The offense is completely barren of talent & both the HC/GM show zero effort to change. The priority is defense.

This is why I keep screaming to draft O.

I agree with you 100%. You manage the cap for 2-3 years so you can get to this point where you can make some huge moves, and these dudes are falling like dominoes. Not a single signing.
