Didn't like Kemp doing the HR derby despite being on the DL. Also didn't like the KC fans constantly booing Cano for picking the best guys. What did they want, Billy Butler over Mark Trumbo?
Beltran back in KC, where he started as a young star, but the fans there don't remember him so he's not getting cheered. Kemp had 1, Cano 0, Gonzalez and McCutchen also eliminated.
also, they have food on the table that George Brett brought and Adam Jones is basically eating everything. He's coming over repeatedly in front of the camera and taking food. they asked him how are the ribs. Jones: "I'd eat them all day"
Trumbo hit some tremendous shots, but he's going to be eliminated in the second round unless Bautista can't hit 3. Trumbo has huge power, I liked his inclusion in this.
Bautista only hit 2, so it went to a swing-off, which Bautista won with another 2, topping Trumbo's 1.
Fcol I've seen 6 things that would get a little leaguer beat on. If you have little leagues don't let the watch MLB.
I haven't watched a single pitch, but I find it hysterically funny how all of the "experts" who were saying how the AL lineup was one of the best ones ever look like complete fools.
That's what I told my buddy when Cain was named starter, people who have never been there have no idea how much Cardinal fans hate the Mets. They may not show it because ESPN tells us how how these are the best fans in baseball but I've been treated like shit multiple times in that city for rocking a Mets hat.
He's the one who lost the fly ball? I thought he was going to fuck up Kershaw's inning, made him throw more pitches.
yeah it was really bad. He just stood there, arms at his sides, and then finally as the ball was dropping several feet behind him, he raises his arms in a "where?" gesture.
