Is Armageddon near? Buccaneers | Team interested in Fabini; may schedule a visit Sun, 12 Mar 2006 15:17:15 -0800 Jim Flynn, of PewterReport.com, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have some interest in free agent OT Jason Fabini (Jets) and they may schedule a visit with him.
They have a pretty crappy OL, not surprising... EDIT: I love your Bryan Cox avatar. Hopefully he lights some fire on Dewayne Robertson's ass.
If they play OL and have a pair of eyes they will be paying a visit to TB. Apperently everyone is visiting TB.
Fabini can still play depth, he's not a complete waste of money. But I think the combo of a scheme change and his age/injuries rendered him ineffective this year. He could end up being a stopgap somewhere.
Not a bad pickup for dallas, Fabini can still hold his own on the line. Plus he'll fit in good with bledsoe since they have the same agility and scrambling ability
Crap. That's one thing about Parcells -- he's got an eye for O-line. He's creating a rather superstar front, I must say, though they are not exactly spring chickens either. Any word on Larry Allen? Revenge is sweeeeet, you know. Oh, wait, I'm thinking Redskins. Hail, Jets!
although i think it is a solid pickup for dallas i dont think i would worry too much about them parcells loves picking up old guys who used to play for him. in fact i just heard that he invited joe morris and phil simms to mini camp
i believe it is bledsoe posing a threat on the run is like rich kotite winning a superbowl, it simply cannot happen
The Human Turnstile signs with the Cowboys Cowboys | Team lands Fabini Fri, 17 Mar 2006 20:33:48 -0800 ESPN.com's John Clayton reports the Dallas Cowboys agreed to a three-year, $6 million contract with free agent OT Jason Fabini (Jets).
