Listening to some of the criticism of Geno / MM and some of it is accurate but the fact of the matter is this is the least talented offensive roster in the NFL. Only one player would get on a starting team which is Holmes outside of him we have nothing that resembles an NFL wide receiver...a mixture of projects and cast offs.

Until this issue gets addressed no QB or OC can be measured.

I don't know. Chris Ivory looked good tonight. I wish he would have gotten more touches. Kerley is a good slot WR too. The rest? Yeah, not so good.

A team of outcasts destined for great things and a trip to the Superbowl!!!!

What's that? Those types of things only happen in the movies? Sorry, ladies and gentleman the Jets trip to the Superbowl has been delayed until they can find real offensive talent. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Other than the o-line, we don't have many good players on offense, I agree. Geno still has potential, but we need a real WR corps. If Geno shows enough promise and improvement throughout the season, I think our first round pick should be a WR, someone who is not viewed as a low-risk guy who is very likely to be very good. He doesn't need to be Fitzgerald or Megatron, but we do need better than Hill and Gates.

If Kerley had been healthy I think we would have won this game :( He can definitely catch the ball, and hopefully when he is healthy for Game 3 he will play well against Buffalo.

Ssshhh... you'll wake up the Sanchez mob.

Without Kerley it looks very weak. With everyone available it is just about adequate. Take a major piece like Kerley out and it looks really poor. Hill and Gates need to step up now and deliver in games what they supposedly been soing in practice. No more excuses.

The Jets do not have a top 100 skill player. You put every NFL skill player into a league-wide draft tomorrow and no current Jet gets selected in the first three, maybe four rounds. Other teams would have every starting skill player selected before a single Jet came off the board.

In what world is that adequate?

You're right on that, and perhaps adequate is the wrong word. Maybe it's more that, with everyone 100% (Holmes, Kerley, Hill - Cumberland/Winslow - Ivory/Powell/Goodson) we can win 6-7 games with our D. Will it get us to post-season? No way. It has to be addressed in draft and FA as a priority, without that we're going nowhere.
