these idiots did the same thing last season, we never learn. bench ZW, destroy his confidence, restart said qb and watch him self destruct, while the fans mercilessly boo him. plus he's afraid to actually play, which is obvious. these last 6 weeks are going to be fun
Saleh (when asked about the lockerroom's reaction to Zach starting: I'm not worried about that report Reporter: why not? Saleh: i have my reasons, but the lockerroom is in a great place and Zach is in a great place.... Me: turn off press conference I realize there's not much else he can say, but to say the locker room is in a great place is probably the biggest bold faced lie he's told this season. A season which has been full of bold faced lies.
I keep promising myself I won't watch the game. But I do.. And my soul loses a bit of itself again. Can't wait for the season to end. Don't care about draft position. Same ever year. Will McDonald lol
I guess today's announcement just confirms that Saleh will bring Brett Rypien in with 7 minutes left in the game and the Jets down by three scores.
I cannot believe this asshole Saleh you can name a guy a starter for the week without declaring him the best option for forever
Haven't we said that about our last (Let me see) at least 5 but I can probably go back further. It has not helped much SOJ. Herm Edwards-Was Dumb- 4 years Mangini- Players hated- 2 years Rex Ryan- The circus- 5 years Todd Bowles- No emotion- 3 years Adam Gase- A disaster- 2 years Robert Saleh- in year 3 The Jets longest-tenured head coaches are Weeb Ewbank- 10 years Joe Walton 6 years The Jets have had four 1 year head coaches
i mean what do you want him to say. we are starting zach but I have better options? he has to justify starting him again after benching him mid game and then making him inactive for 2 weeks now going back to him he was never wrong when he said he gives us the best chance, it's jsut fans didn't believe it. now they do and they are still mad? IDK sometimes.
I understand what you're trying to say here but we keep firing HCs because none of them have been very good. If any of the names you mentioned were even half as good as Tomlin or Cowher, they'd still be here.
Easy. "We are going to start Zach Wilson at Quarterback this week." period. The sentence can end there.
Would they? I doubt it. The Steelers stuck with both of them through some lean times. There will always be a contingent of fans that hate the QB and the coach no matter what happens.
it's funny because I went back and we actually had a pretty good run from 1997 when parcells took over to 2010 rex's second season. which covers those 1st 3 coaches. thats a 14 year run that included 10 winning seasons (1 even and 3 losing), 7 playoff berths (half the seasons) 14 playoff games (7-7) 3 AFC championship games, 2 division titles, 120-104 record (54%). since then it's been 13 years (including this season) and 0 playoffs, 1 winning season (1 even and 11 losing) 74-132 record (36%)
