OK, here's your chance to go on record. Show your football knowledge and be bashed for your ridiculous predictions. Make one NFL statement and Jets statement. NFL- The Arizona Cardinals will win the NFC West. Reasoning- The 49ers are a damn good team, but I'm a bold motha. Although they feature John Skelton at the QB position, this team, IMO, is one of the most balanced teams in the NFL. Skelton's play will be much better throwing to a good WR corps featuring Larry Fitzgerald. Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams are a very good 1, 2 punch running the ball. This defense is underrated. The DL is very solid with Calais Campbell and Darnell Dockett. Sam Acho is ready to break out. Adrian Wilson is a stud and Kerry Rhodes is also solid (don't start). Patrick Peterson should be better in coverage this year as well. Stephens-Howling and Peterson is probably the best KR-PR duo in the NFL. Jets- Mark Sanchez will complete 60%+ of his passes and throw 12 or less picks. Reasoning- Sanchez has looked efficient throwing the ball this preseason completing 68% of his passes and it would be over 70% without the drops (part of the game). He has been safe with the ball (other than that pick six) and we took a good amount of shots against Carolina. This is his make or break year, he better make it count or it'll be Tebow Time. Be Bold.
Kapernick ends up starting for the Niners and takes them to the SB The more I see of Colin the more I am annoyed the Jets didn't draft him (after Rex recently went on record as saying he was a guy the Jets were interested in drafting as part of their wildcat plans). Jets end up with the #1 ranked Defense overall
in the offseason, after missing the playoffs again, we put tannybum on waivers and sign free agent bill polihan, who actually has a proven track record. of course, since this makes sense, it's guaranteed it won't happen.
Jets win the Super Bowl Cowboys win the NFC Steelers don't make the playoffs Andy Reid gets the pink slip
The Bills will win 4 or less games and in the off season, theganggreen.com will be bombarded with Bills fans trying to convince us why they are so much better next season.
- Rookie Trent Richardson misses the first couple games and still finishes the season with 1000+ yards rushing & 200+ receiving. Really think this guy is a stud & has the chance to impact every game he plays in. He'll be able to keep some of the pressure of their QB and their offense will really improve. They won't be good but they'll be closer to average than bottom when it comes to rankings. - Eagles miss the playoffs & now Andy Reid is on the hot seat. Vick keeps getting injured & missing games. Eagles unable to get by with their backup qb. Everyone is mad at Reid for team's under performance two years in a row. - Jets D will be in the top 2. Jets O will be in the bottom 5. Tebow gets a start & even McElroy. D has a lot of talent but I'm not seeing why this offense is going to outperform last years offense. They'll still have a lot of 3 and outs but at least they'll keep the turnovers down and that will allow the defense to dominate and win games. Jets pull out 10+ wins with a bad offense that minimizes turnovers. - There's gonna be a thread here to bring back shotty There's more negative posters here than positive. Seeing the O struggle badly, somebody will inevitably compare this OC with the previous OC. The Dolphins will struggle but their fans post here more often in delight as posters rip the new OC.
Denver Broncos will NOT make the playoff's this season. Jet's will make the playoff's this season, replacement ref's willing.
Seattle will win the NFC West. Arizona sucks, sorry. OL is trash, QBs are trash, RBs are unproven, defense is mediocre. San Francisco still makes the playoffs, but I like this Seattle team. Arizona and St. Louis each have top 6 picks. Cowboys and Eagles miss playoffs - Giants win that division, nobody else gets in. Both teams offensive lines are bad, and the QBs won't last 16 games. Vlad Ducasse starts at some point this season...and plays well - Slauson and Moore have some lingering injuries, and Ducasse has played well. Could definitely see this happening. Jets make the playoffs as a Wild Card - Jets' defense will be top 3 in NFL, probably #1, and lead the Jets to the playoffs. Dolphins don't win a divisional game - Miami will be awful this year. Tebow's package is very effective, and there's a constant back-and-forth between Tebow and Sanchez fans all year. - When Tebow is in the game at QB, I think the Jets offense will be very interesting with all the speed that will be on the field at wide receiver. Surprised they didn't bring in another running back to help with it, but Tebow is a tough runner, and if the defense plays close to the LOS, receivers will be able to get open deep. LaRon Landry is relatively healthy for the playoffs - He'll get hurt at some point this year, and the Jets will be extremely cautious bringing him back, so he can be alright for the playoffs. Don't think he has a season-ending injury, though this is pure speculation. When he's on the field, he'll be dynamic.
Denver will play SF in the Supe. Buffalo wins the AFC East. Both the Jets and Pats won't win 9 games. Santonio Holmes gets a team suspension for conduct unbecoming. Tebow doesn't start a game unless Sanchez gets injured. If he does start, McElroy comes in in the 4th quarter and pulls out a win. Rex busts his stomache staples on ther sideline in week 12. That is all.
