I don't even know if you can call it being beat. Brady started tossing over the shoulder jump balls to Gronk. There is seriously no way to defend against that shit. He's a good 4+ inches taller than anybody defending him which equals box out if you are running behind him. Honestly the only thing you can do is try to run in stride and tangle his arms up. i was hoping they'd keep Pryor deep to punch his ticket on those. He tried it once and it was like him hitting a brick wall. Pryor just kinda slid off of a SQUARE hit and Gronk kept going terminator style. We need a coverage LB badly, next season maybe.

I have absolutely no idea how he held onto that pass on 4th and 9. Pryor absolutely whacked him, got there at the same time as the ball and put his helmet directly on the ball. Dude's a freak.

This X 100 . After I got home from the game and watched the highlights I rewinded that play like 10 times . Pryor came with everything he's got and hit square on his hip. You can see the force of the collision because gronk actually does knocked backwards but he was able to muscle himself heading forwards again with only 1 stride, leaving Pryor on the ground holding on to Gronks ankle for dear life. Thank god gronk wasn't running with a full head of steam when Pryor hit him or else Pryor might have really hurt himself. Not advocating dirty hits here but the only way to rock the dude when he comes over the top is to aim low and try to his legs out from under him. Hitting him in the solid part of his body is like ramming into a tree. Absolute monster
Cro wasn't the only one on gronk. Everyone had a chance... you see Revis got a pick guarding Gronk.. Cro did get beat for a 30 yarder by Gronk but that's about it.. Overall the DEFENSE shut down gronk that's all that matters.

i was frustrated how he didnt get more attention on the last drive where he had 2 big catches. i was beyond frustrated that they left pryor alone with him and didnt give him any help. it was obvious the rest of their squad was just pitiful with all of their injuries but when it came down to brass tax if it werent for that pi call and brady had gotten the ball back we would be complaining about how the fuck do you dominate a game like the jets did and then let this fucktard get 2 huge catches on the game tying drive.
