For those Yankee fans looking for a bridge off which to jump, may I suggest the Mid-Hudson/FDR? It offers a lovely view. The Yanks get to visit Target Center for the first time. Great looking new park... playoff baseball might get a tit nipply, though. Tuesday's matchup will be Burnett vs. Baker. I'd like to see the return of good Burnett. It'd be nice if Tex used this off day to try to remove his head from his ass, too. The offense has been struggling, but it ain't the replacements that are doing most of the sucking. Granderson should be back soon, though, and June and July are relatively easy on the Yanks schedule-wise, which should help. Of interesting note, A-Jax got hit in the face and probably has a concussion, so I guess we're seeing the upside of that trade.
Here are all your pitching matchups for the series: Tonight RHP A.J. Burnett (4-2, 3.86) vs. RHP Scott Baker (4-4, 4.88) 8:10 p.m., MY9 Wednesday LHP Andy Pettitte (5-1, 2.68) vs. LHP Francisco Liriano (4-3, 4.25) 7:10 p.m., YES Network and ESPN2 Thursday RHP Javier Vazquez (3-4, 6.69) vs. RHP Nick Blackburn (5-1, 4.50) 8:10 p.m., YES Network

Game suspended... will resume tomorrow at 4pm. The second game will follow the completion of the first.
Just as clarification to everyone, it's a 4PM start central time. It's 5PM for us on the east coast. Game 2 will be at 7:15 or a half-hour after the completion of the first game, whichever is later.
The Yankees have brought back Chad Gaudin. Sounds like it's really bad news with Aceves. Gaudin is in Minnesota now and could be activated for today's action. He has been brutal this year. He had an ERA of 8.68 in 4 spring appearances, and an ERA of 8.83 in 12 appearances for the As.
Peripherals look better than his actual line. And he'll just be the long guy in any case. Besides, he can't be much worse than Logan's been. (I assume that's who he's replacing.)
Just the opposite..Gaudin was good last year, that's why shitface got rid of him...I guess he went on vacation and somebody with brains was put in charge for the day.
