pure speculation to say the least, but maybe a possibility. it would make me sick, but then again, i dont care if it helps the team.

I think what they have to ask themselves before doing that is whether or not he would make the difference between making the playoffs or not. At this point, I don't think he is. Who knows what his skills are after this long a layoff? He's a great hitter, but given everything else surrounding him, he has to all but guarantee a playoff berth to be worth the circus.

    Short porch right field. EOS

I'd rather take a gamble on Sexson though.

Oh, and F**K Matsui and Damon. F'n old bodies making far too much money. Damnit.

Damon is up after next season, and I believe Matsui is as well...

Tabata, and hopefully Austin Jackson, better mature by then.

I see Abreu returning on a 3-year contract. I'm okay with that, but I really wish someone would teach him how to play with the wall.

The rest of the outfield can take a hike.

"short porch" isnt much use to barry because he doesn't hit many HR's down the line.

I guarantee we don't sign Bonds. Bonds is playing nowhere this season, and probably not next season either.

If Bonds were righthanded, I'd take him.
