I know that there's a ticket forum, but only JetBo goes there and he sucks. That being said, I have 2 tickets for Yankees/Sox in September, at the stadium. Face on the tickets is $325 per. I'm not a huge baseball fan and was just wondering, based upon your experience, if tickets for this series tend to hold their value, irrespective of whether or not one team is in the shitter. I'm also wondering if whether both teams are playing well, these are the kinds of tickets that command more than face? Seats are 2nd row above legends, between 3rd and home. I'm actually hoping to find a ticket broker who will want these in exchange for 4 tickets with decent seats to a Jets home game. What do you guys think?
i truly believe not one person on this site would buy tickets that high. they would only sit there as a gift.so therefor you have no useful info.
If you're looking to sell, I'll buy one if someone else buys the other. And, having said that, if I thought of this sooner, I have tickets for both this Friday and Saturday, but I've have companions already offered out. Otherwise, this could have been a clean home and away swap. I also have a Friday game in October, believe it or not, but I'm not sure I'll be able to use it.
Homosezwhat? If you can't swap, and you're interested in selling them, I'll buy one if some other TGG baseball nerd is interested in buying the other.
Hey here's a follow up to my earlier question. Ended up landing 4 tix section 124 for next saturday's game v. Rays- Old Timers Day. What do you think I could realistically land for the tickets if I am unable to attend?
Put the tickets up on as many sites as possible(stub hub, ebay, etc...). There's usually one sucker who will pay alot more than they should. Yankee tickets are not hard to come by just like Jet tickets. You just have to be smart and wait it out and you'll get good deals but there are impatient folks or people that come in from out of town that will overpay.
I figured that I couldn't even get close to face on thse, which I think is $325. Was considering that most offers will come in the area of around $175-$200 per. Do you think folks would actually overpay for this game?
