typeO, you are the MAN! Keep on starting these threads bro. And listen to dwalsh. Dump that damned sig!
Hah, yeah. If he gets the privelege of making the threads, he needs to keep everything else intact, including the Metsies sig.
yeah,i think i may need to keep it up until the streak ends. in that case,i hope to wear it until november.
I did. I don't know how long I'll keep it because I just wanted to get rid of this ugly and poorly done Mets logo and get a nice Yankees logo, at least until I can get a more permanent one. But I do really like the work you did with it.
Any other stadium and i'd be happy with Moose-Pettitte-Clemens. Especially Moose, I get the feeling of a 9-7 Rockies win in his start...Moose at Coors just spells disaster. And I'm not confident in Andy or Raja at Coors...Not saying a sweep, but I wouldn't be surprised if Colorado takes 2 of 3.
I'll say, if there were ever a series when I wish we had Wang on the mound, this would be it. The one saving grace is that we've been hitting. I don't know jack about the Rockies pitching staff, but we can hit most pitching. Given the sheer power in the lineup right now, we should be able to put a few in the seats this series. Alex may just put on a hitting clinic. Score early and often, and let the chips fall where they may.
Ought to be a fun series. The last time they played there they combined for 70 runs in 3 games. Still the all time record, I think they said last night.
You make it sound like Colorado are some scrubs... But in that ballpark, they have some damn good hitters...Helton, Hawpe, Holliday are all very good...Atkins is solid, Ianetta is average. Alio...I've never heard of these Rockies pitchers either...Which means the Yanks will make one of these guys look like an Ace.
I am just saying if the Rockies score 6, the Yankees should be able to score 7 atleast 2 of the games.
I hear what you're saying bro, but I have more faith in this team now than I did a few weeks ago. As long as they show the same patience they have over the past dozen games, they should be fine. Pitchers will always make mistakes if you wait on them. If we see quite a few called first strikes, I'll be comfortable. The only guy that really worries me in this series is Moose. His 68MPH fastball is going to be a meatball in that park. (Yes, I know Moose throws harder than that, before someone jumps on my back for sarcasm :wink Fortunately, the guy he's facing has a higher ERA, so based solely on that, we have a better shot at outscoring Colorado. Wouldn't it be nice to see Alex hit #500 this series!
