I was in Boston this week, caught the Tuesday Night Tampa debacle and the Sox fans are scared we'r coming. it sucks Tampa blew the last 2 games b/c it would have been great to go in or 3 back in the L column.
W/ last night's loss there goes alot of the drama involved w/ this weekend's series- at least as far as the standings go. we may see some retaliation b/c of course Boston will throw at us and get warned so we can't throw back. Boston pitchers are always allowed to hit Yankees but if we come close it's ejections and suspensions w/o warning.
Clemens throws on Sunday. I agree with the thread starter, Wang vs. Beckett will be a prelude to who takes the Cy Young Award.
