Didn't see a thread for this series. Which lead me to believe that people felt this series wasn't important enough to warrant a thread. I disagree, this is very important and the Yanks could use this as a spring board for the Boston series. It's Sunday now and the Yanks have taken 2 of 3, let's go people...not dead yet.

The next series is the real test. Pettitte, Moose and Ponson. Raise your hand if you thought Rasner, Ponson, and Pavano would comprise 60% of the Yanks' rotation. Now keep it raised if you thought they'd even be in position to sniff the wild card with that rotation. I'll gladly take 2/3, but they could really, really use another sweep. [/obvious]
Basically it will boil down to the line. I'd love a sweep too man. Boston is banged up too, Beckett is out with numbness, we hit Wakefield, I'd be concerned with facing Lester, we've struggled with him.
