Didn't see a thread for this series. Which lead me to believe that people felt this series wasn't important enough to warrant a thread. I disagree, this is very important and the Yanks could use this as a spring board for the Boston series.

It's Sunday now and the Yanks have taken 2 of 3, let's go people...not dead yet.

Yanks need to retaliate, Cabrera ALWAYS hits us. I'm sorry, I'm tired of his wild pitching.

Left fielder dives...just out of his reach, double for Nady, A-Rod, Abreu score. Cabrera gets knocked out of the game.

A-Rod got lucky pulling that outside pitch, should have been an out.

Who is that kid they've been showing in the dugout all weekend?

swept the Orioles. Cano's clutch at-bat proves to be the difference.

The next series is the real test. Pettitte, Moose and Ponson.

Raise your hand if you thought Rasner, Ponson, and Pavano would comprise 60% of the Yanks' rotation. Now keep it raised if you thought they'd even be in position to sniff the wild card with that rotation.

I'll gladly take 2/3, but they could really, really use another sweep. [/obvious]

Basically it will boil down to the line. I'd love a sweep too man. Boston is banged up too, Beckett is out with numbness, we hit Wakefield, I'd be concerned with facing Lester, we've struggled with him.
