I guess "rules" mean nothing to you.

The rules have been broken a lot lately and the Yankees keep winning. I guess we really don't control if they win or lose after all. :)

Johnny Damon was not blessed with the gift of gab, to put it mildly.

That was not a pleasant pregame interview with Suzyn Waldman.

That's not quite true. He has the gift of gab. He just doesn't have the gift of a functional neocortex.

that would be another way of putting it.

    "Swish-a-licious" just took Guthrie deep.

Man, Guthrie gives up a lot of home runs. He's allowed 30, to lead the AL.

I know it's Melky and all, but for fuck's sake, Girardi... it's the Orioles, and you've got Guthrie on the ropes after two hard hits. Cut the shit with the bunting!

That curve, coupled with that breaking ball (curve? change) up is really sick tonight. The combination is fooling a lot of batters.

Pettite has been great since the All Star break. Quality stuff from him as of late.

Hairston makes a good play to preserve it. Through 6 now.

I want to see a cycle, inside the park home run, and a perfect game all occur in the same game.

You know Don will find something like this to bitch about if Pettite completes a no-hitter:

"Pettite didn't do the pitching staff any favors by not giving them good looks at the hitters tendencies, etc., etc., etc."

    So true.

Or, "Pettite's pickoff move will be rusty for his next start."
