Clemens scratched from first start with a hammy injury...Igawa???? are you kidding me? anyway here it is Igawa (2-3) vs. Hammel (2-5) Wang (18-7) vs. Howell (1-5) Hughes (4-3) vs. Kazmir (13-9) Lets hope I have enough luck to bring Igawa a quality start....wishful thinking!!! If we win out, then Boston is forced to to win at least 4 out of 6 vs Oakland and Minnesota....LETS GO YANKEES!!!
The Yankees better hope Igawa can pitch well tonight because if not there is a real chance of losing the series with Kazmir pitching the finale. Also, I don't know why a lot of Yankee fans are stuck in 2006, but as long as the Sox don't rest too many guys at once, they shouldn't have a problem beating Oakland and Minnesota. Manny is back in the lineup tonight, and neither of those teams are any good this year.
i hope igawa has a great start.. for some odd reason i have always liked him, i dont know why. i just hope he pitches well tonite..
John Sterling still doesn't know what's going on. Abreu: "And a high fly to left... that'll get in a run."
Suzyn Waldman: "Tomorrow is Wednesday and the day after is Thursday." This woman is almost as brilliant as Sterling!
Now here's a real scary thought. I think at one point in April or early May Igawa was the only starting pitcher in our original 5 that was still pitching at that time. How remarkable is it that we made the playoffs?
and now sterling says "he'll get the win", meaning Igawa. In other words, Tampa Bay has no chance of coming back. Can't get enough of these buffoons.
sheesh...well, atm I'm in Canada and have to follow it on the internet which I guess is preferabble to listening to them.
