Hank Steinbrenner is invisible tonight, or else he would've been booed.

Was a nice ceremony, not too different from the All-Star game one and most of the stuff was predictable. It was a nice touch having Bernie be the last on-field introduction and have him get the big ovation. I'm not a Yankee fan but I think it would have been nice to see a taped message from Torre, obviously he couldn't be there in person.

I felt it had too much of an Old Timer's Day feel to it. Can't say I didn't see it coming.

Please, God. Don't let us lose tonight. NOT TONIGHT.

2-0 Baltimore. C'mon Yankees, the ghosts of the past are looking down upon you tonight!

"...God only knows who'll be the last."

JOHNNY DAMON? He'll have a place in Yankee lore if that's it.

I hope it catches fire and has to be evacuated.

I was all for the new park but as this game goes on, I'm growing more somber. The new place is going to be great, but I'm going to miss the old House that Ruth Built.

Come on, Molina can't be the last home run hitter in the old park. Either ARod, or preferably Jeter. Come on ghosts, make it happen!

I'm in the same boat myself. I really regret not being at this game.

Same. At first I didn't really care, now I wish this stadium was staying. Maybe my opinion changes in April.

wow, awful fielding on back to back plays by the Orioles costs them 2 more runs.

    7-3 now
