How could ANYONE not remember that night?

It would be so much sweeter if we won the World Series that year, but whatever. It was still the greatest game to date that I have ever been to.

I was out in California on business for that. A co-worker and I were the only Yankees fans in the bar, along with MANY Red Sox (well, non-Yankees fans, at least.)

They were all talking smack all night. When Boone hit that ball, my co-worker and I went BEZERK. Except for us, the bar was pretty quiet at that point. Great, great night to be a Yankees fan.

That was my favorite sports moment that I ever witnessed. Also one of the greatest nights of my life.
