Id rather take Mario Williams and Bobby Carpenter, and go offense from there, but really, I wouldnt be dissappointed with their scenario

I'd be happy with D'Brick and Lendale, it would fill two major needs. I also prefer Mario to D'Brick, but I think Lendale would be a major steal at 29. In that situation I would want Manny Lawson round 2. If we're going with a DE/RB/OT combo, I'd rather Williams-White-McNeil than D'Brick-White-Lawson, but both would be good.

let Lendale slip to 35...he will go that far and we can spend our 29 much better

he WILL NOT fall to 35, i doubt even 29

i tihnk hes going to be the top RB prospect in the draft.

trust me, he wont fall that far i tihnk hes going to be taken in the teens if not lower

Williams - White - McNeill would be awesome, I am scared of White but with the other 2 picks we could pick a punter with 29 and I would still be happy, I still think give Houston a shot as a bruiser and pick up Drew or Calhoun to be the lightning back

I don't see him falling out of the first round because of the Colts major need for a RB and the Steelers need for a power RB, which is exactly what LenDale is.

I don't want Lendale. He is a one trick pup with some question marks about his work ethic.

He has poor work ethic and now he has a torn hamstring.. no way he is drafted in the first round.

lendale is expcted to fall to the late 2nd or early 3rd because of the torn hamstring. no way we reach for him with 29 OR 35th

That is what I have been hearing. A team is going to have to have a big set of balls to pick him in the first round. Just about any team could pick him up thru the mid second round.

    Bring the Forklift

If Macgahee can go in the first round, why not White?

Because Willis runs the forty faster than 5.0 and does a hell of a lot more reps than 15

I don't think it will be a problem when the dookie hits the fan.
We've seen plenty of White and we know what he can do.
He is good as gone in the first.
    BUT
if he is available for us later in the draft.. then

FYI....The mock was Updated on Wednesday, Apr 12, 2006 5:18 pm EDT. I believe that this was before they disclosed Whites torn hammy.

Yeah we have seen White.. We seen him behind an all pro offensive line. We seen him go up against defenses who are worn down from chasing reggie bush the entrire game. We have seen white play with the best qb in college football. put him on the jets -- he's could be blair thomas

thats exactly my point...i would be willing to throw in a trip to Hawaii and a heftly lump of cash that he wont be picked in the 1st round and doubtful about the 2nd too...but he will definetely be there at 35

this is not a hammy pull...this is a hammy tear...not the same thing...he might not be about to drive as much with his legs as he once did...not to mention the question marks that surrounded him before he came out about his hammy...he already dropped to the late 1st round before that news came out yesterday

Lendale White will not fall out of the first round. If Willis McGahee didn't fall out of the first round there is NO WAY Lendale White falls out of the first round... NO WAY. He might be available at 29 though, and we'd be hard pressed NOT to at least consider taking him. It all depends on the #4 pick for us.
