I don't do trades, even though there will be some. They are impossible to predict, so why make this even more complicated then it is. 1. St. Louis - Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma Need a face to the franchise. All rumors show that they love Bradford, and this will be the pick. 2. Detroit - Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska A no brainer. BPA team, and Suh could be the BPA from the past 3 drafts. Schwartz would love to have Suh after having Haynseworth in Tennessee. 3. Tampa Bay- Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma A perfect fit for the Cover 2, McCoy has already drawn links to the next Warren Sapp in Tampa. Those are pretty high standards, but he should be great. 4. Washington- Trent Williams, T, Oklahoma Trent Williams fits Shanny's ZBS better. Even though he is not as polished as Okung, we saw the same thing last year with Smith over Monroe, Smith and others. Williams has great athleticism and can be good in a ZBS. 5. Kansas City- Russell Okung, T, Oklahoma State Even though reports are that Pioli loves Bulaga, they will take the #1 OT on their board with Okung. They need offensive line help, and get it here. 6. Seattle- Eric Berry, S, Tennessee With many spots needing help, they can afford to take arguably the second best player in this draft with Berry. Berry can step in to a weak secondary and make plays, and will help that defense. No OTs are worth taking, and if Seattle isn't high on Clausen they won't pull the trigger on him. 7. Cleveland-Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame I don't know if Cleveland will pick here. This seems like the first most logical place to try to trade down, a team that wants Clausen before Oakland/Buffalo. Cleveland could take Clausen too, with the moves they made this off season (Dellhomme and Grossman are not the answers). I don' t think Clausen drops a la Quinn and Rodgers, and even if Cleveland isn't picking here, Clausen looks to be the pick. 8. Oakland- Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland This is just Al Davis being Al Davis. A big man who can rub a sub 5 40? Sign him up. 9. Buffalo-Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee This is a tough pick. The Bills always seem to be a team that reaches a bit, and this could be a reach. With switching to the 3-4, they need a big body in the middle. They've seen it in all their division rivals, Jenkins, Wilfork, Ferguson. Get the big man, have a good line. The Bills hope to get that with Williams. 10. Jacksonville-Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech BPA situation, which is the Jaguars style as of late. This is another trade down spot, for teams looking to surpass Denver for McClain. Rumors are that the Jags will try to trade down, even if they don't get good value, which would definately be interesting. Morgan is the best defensive end in this class and would help the Jags defense. 11. Denver-Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama Denver has a bad front 7. McClain is the best linebacker in this draft, and will help that defense, which needs a leader. 12. Miami-Earl Thomas, S, Texas With Dan Williams off the board, they could take their next biggest need, S, and take Earl Thomas. A ballhawk who is rated right behind Berry, Thomas will make an immediate impact. 13. San Francisco-Bryan Bulaga, T, Iowa Looking for a LT so that they could move Staley to RT, they get it in Bulaga. It fills one of their major needs. 14. Seattle- Charles Brown, OT, USC Pete Carroll takes his man from college, to take over the LT spot. They didn't address it with the 6th pick, and need to here. 15. New York Giants-Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida Reese is supposdely in love with JPP. By drafting him, they could shop around disgruntled Osi, and add some explosiveness to the line. 16. Tennessee-Brandon Graham, OLB, Michigan Pass rusher is by far the biggest need for the Titans, who have pretty much no one on that defensive line. Graham will step in and be an immediate starter. 17. San Francisco-Mike Iupati, OL, Idaho The 49ers continue to bolster their offensive line, and take Iuapti to play next to Bulaga for the next 10 years. 18. Pittsburgh-Maurkice Pouncey, C, Florida With their interior line being swiss cheese, they strengthen it with the best center in the draft, who is drawing comparsions to Nick Mangold. 19. Atlanta-Sean Weatherspoon, OLB, Missouri Rumors are that many, many teams are in love with Weatherspoon. The Falcons need a pass rusher, and take Weatherspoon. Everson Griffin could also be a potential pick. 20. Houston- C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson Even though CB is a bigger need, CB is deep this year and they could take one in the second round with the way they are dropping. Spiller is an all around back, and could be great in that offense. 21. Cincinnati-Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State Ocho needs another receiver next to him, even with the signing of Antonio Bryant. Dez is the perfect downfield target for Palmer. 22. New England- Joe Haden, CB, Florida Will he drop this far? Probably not, he is a good talent who should go higher. But sometimes, players drop. New England gets a steal this late in the draft by getting the best corner overall in the draft. 23. Green Bay-Anthony Davis, T, Rutgers With both tackles being old and hurt often, Davis can be groomed to be the future LT for this squad. 24. Philadelphia-Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State Rumors show the Eagles willing to trade up for Berry or Thomas. If they stay put though, Wilson could drop to them. Wilson is a tremendous talent, who could be the first corner taken in this draft. He is very physical, and will play great across from Asante Samuel. 25. Baltimore-Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma They traded for Boldin to help the offense out, and now they get a true tight end threat in Gresham. This gives Flacco the big redzone target he needs, and can make the Baltimore offense into a top 5 this year. 26. Arizona-Sergio Kindle, OLB, Texas They need a big time linebacker, and get it with Kindle. He will take over Dansbys spot on the defense, and make an immediate impact to a defense that needs a pass rusher. 27. Dallas-Taylor Mays, S, USC Roy Williams v2 is in Dallas. They need a safety, and Jerry Jones is comfortable with their starting tackles. Mays is somewhat a good fit here. 28. San Diego-Ryan Mathews, RB, Fresno State With RB and NT being major needs, and the depth of the nose tackle position in this draft, they can take Ryan Matthews to be their full time back here. 29. New York Jets-Jared Odrick, DT, Penn State The Jets get Odrick and he looks to be an immediate starter for the defensive line of the best defense in the league. Odrick brings youth to a very old line. He will get to deal with tons of one on one's due to Jenkins being back. 30. Minnesota- Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers Even with the signing of Lito Sheppard, McCourty is the right pick here. The weakest unit for them was by far their secondary, and McCourty can play nickle while getting use to the speed of the NFL. 31. Indianapolis- Everson Griffin, DE, USC The Colts are by far a BPA team, and Griffin is the BPA at this stage. With Freeny hurt last year, they could always have a back up. Griffin will get them youth to the line, and be able to swap with Freeny and Mathis, and eventually take over. 32. New Orleans-Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida The Saints need help on the defensive line, and take someone close to home with Dunlap. His athletic ability alone merits a first round pick, and Sean Payton is the perfect guy to motivate him. He will be tremendous playing next to Ellis and Will Smith.
Atl, Houston, Cinci, and the 49ers will not skip on Haden. Especially after the 9ers picking a Lineman, they wont go back to back Olineman. But overall nice mock Debo gotta give you credit its not easy to make one of these.
Bro if Haden is on the board Tanny trades up no doubt. Could you imagine a secondary of Revis, Haden, Cromartie? Teams would be terrified to throw it. Then you get someone like Cam Thomas or Troupe in rd 2 to help with Jenkins and teams won't get over 100 yards of total offense on us. Our DEF would be better than the Ravens or Pitt of this past decade.

Atlanta just traded for Dunta Robinson, and they NEED a passrusher. They more then likely won't take Haden. Houston was the next possible. CB depth is good this year, and if this was the way the draft was falling, a solid CB would be available with their next pick. They would secure the best RB in this draft. Cincy has Leon Hall and Jon Joseph. They have no need for Haden when they have bigger needs. 9ers are another possibility, but I think it is possible they beef up that oline with two picks and have an awesome line for Smith to have protection and Gore to run behind. I agree with you, and everyone else. Haden won't last until the Pats. If he does drop, I can see the Eagles trading up for him. But I don't like mocking trades, so I didn't do it. That's the problem with it
If you go by need like that then sure....but it is smart to go best pick available and that many teams won't pass on Haden's value that late.
no I'm not. I'm very very high on Haden. If the Browns don't trade down, I honestly believe they should go Haden. He is tremendous value, and is a top 5 CB prospect in the last 4 or 5 years in my opinion. Even though I talked about how Wilson could be the first CB off the board this year, I love Haden. That said, a team lke SF or Atlanta might skip need to take Haden. But a team like Cincy, with two young, really good CBs would not take a third. It does not fit their team.
Cincy would be a very rare exception but Houston would be all over him. I believe that Haden would be better value then Spiller in their eyes. 30 seconds wouldn't even get off the clock before the Texans pick would be in. Not to mention NE would've traded up at some point to take Spiller which would BLOWWWWWWW!!!!!!! But you don't do trades so I know that this is just heresay.
