Anyone want to start up an online league when this game comes out in March? We could even start offline here with trades and stuff if people wanted.
I'm awful at baseball games, and I don't own the game, but if there's enough interest, I wouldn't mind.
im definatley getting this game, 2k7 was so fun but way to easy. you either hit a home run or struck out on 3 pitches every at bat. hope they fix that.
I've heard it's really bad. Framerate issues galore, even offline games lag. I'm heading out to GameStop later probably to buy The Show. I have tons of Store Credit so maybe I pick this up for the hell of it.
I don't have many issues with lagging or anything like that, although the first copy I got was defective. It kept freezing so I exchanged it. No problems with the new disc. The pitching is ridiculous, but in a good way. The only issue I've had so far is that because they included the minor leagues, simulating seasons in franchise mode takes a while. Other than that, I like it.
Why don't you like 2K8? I'm enjoying it to be honest. I'm having a hard time getting used to the pitching, but yet having fun in the process.
First of all, I don't have Playstation, and have no intention of ever having one, so the show is out of the question. Plus, it's WAAAAAY to arcade-y for my tastes. Like I said, I haven't had any problems with 2k8.
The show is GARBAGE!! 2K8 all the way....If you know anything about baseball you'll know this is the better game
it has nothing to do with knowing about baseball, it has to do with the quality of the video game. though, you are apparently not interested in discussing the actual games, thus why you simply insulted the baseball knowledge of anyone who sees differently than you -- well, guess what, how smart someone is has nothing to do with the quality of the games, which is completely independent of baseball knowledge. nice ad hominem, back to logic class for you.
I just got the game saturday. I've finally gotten used to the pitching. First game I played, Mets @ Braves, I'm winning 4-2 bottom of the 9th. I bring in Billy Wagner to shut down em down. 1st pitch, I hit the batter.. for some reason I do that alot. 2nd pitch, base hit. i get the next two batters out. Larry Jones comes out, hits a walk off 3 run homerun. I stopped playing it until today.
being from the UK this is a hard one. huge Mets fan so I have to get a baseball game. I got The Show 08 and I'm loving it how is 2k8?
