I got a laptop for christmas and a X-Box 360 from the money I got. I want to download some pictures, music, etc. onto my 360. I have media center on my laptop, but I can't seem to get it to work. I have a wireless network. I don't have an X-Box 360 Adapter, but I have a Netgear one. Can I still use the netgear? Also, under "Network Settings" and "Edit Settings" it says I don't have a "Wireless Mode." I'm not sure if I have to create another network or if I'm missing something. Thanks in advance for the help.

Your best bet would be to save the media on your computer, onto a USB transfer memory card and then just plug that into your 360.

You also have to open up some ports in your wireless routers settings so your Xbox can get through but it was supposed to be pretty easy to use media center with your xbox. Id cehcj out the microsoft website they ushually ahve to stuff to guide you through what you need to do to ge tit hooked up. Lots of cool stuff you can do like stream video and such.
