Great list. It'll be interesting to see how many risers and fallers there will be after Senior Bowl week and the combine.
I completely agree with Charles Brown, I tend to have him going higher than most people expect. I know the biggest knock on him is that he is under weight (listed at 285 on USC website) but I still think he has the athleticism to become a great left tackle
Hard to say...all three have many flaws in their game. Tebow will be drafted by a team that's willing to take a chance. I thought Tebow could go in rd 1 to Jax, but that's now a reach. Jax doesn't have a rd 2 pick. Snead and McCoy...anywhere from Round 3-5 area.
With the way that Jevan Snead played this season, he'd be lucky to go in the fifth round. I really like Sean Canfield as a mid-round, developmental QB, and I'm glad you included him in your top five. This quarterback class would've been much more interesting had Ryan Mallett and Jake Locker declared. Next year we're going to see an extremely deep quarterback group. We'll see amazing athletes like Jake Locker, Terrelle Pryor, and Jerrod Johnson and then we'll see guys with rocket arms like Ryan Mallett and Pat Devlin.
I think Tebow is still going to the Jaguars. Unfortunately the Jaguars need to sell tickets and usually when an owner publicly mentions how it would be cool for his team to draft a big name, local player it means it is probably going to happen. Keep in mind this is the same team that traded way up to draft Derrick Harvey and we all know how that turned out
What a collapse for Snead. I don't follow college football as closely as I used to, but wasn't he projected as a high first rounder? This is a weird QB class. The only one who I have any faith in translating to the NFL is Clausen. The guy loves the game, is tremendously talented, worked in a pro style offense and studies as hard as any QB in this class. After that, it gets very interesting. I like Bradford but his shoulder injury is a real concern. Tebow is a bit gimmicky. He could totally flame out if he's drafted to the wrong team, or he could be successful given the right circumstances. There are plenty of good arms/developmental Qb's it seems this year. All that to say, we're golden with Sanchez. I loved the idea of trading up for him. I wanted him over any player in the draft last year. He's a gamer and he showed that when it mattered most. His feel for the game is rising. The pump fake on the TD to Edward's was a thing of beauty. As far as receiver goes, a slot receiver could be immensely useful for Sanchez. Whether it's Tate in an earlier round, or a guy like Shipley or Barnes in a middle round, I hope we select a guy who can work the quick routes on the field. Ideally, I'd prefer to take a DE/OLB in the first round. But if Rex's targets are not there when we pick, WR would be a valuable pick for us at 29.
I agree Jax needs to save their franchise and drafting Tebow would help. Here's the dilemma, Tebow isn't worth the #11 pick in the Draft. Jax has so many needs that drafting Tebow that early could slow the development of their franchise. Jax doesn't have a rd 2 pick, the perfect spot to land Tebow.

Nice changes, I would put Jarrett Brown as the number 5 QB on this ranking, I know he comes from a spread offense and doesnt have a lot of experience but I mean he has a cannon for an arm which is something that a lot of the other spread guys dont have I'm surprised Dorin Dickerson didnt make the list somehow, one of the few guys I've seen ranked in three different possitions (FB, TE, WR). Frankly if the Jets got him in the second round I really couldnt complain about getting another weapon for Sanchize
Maybe you've discussed this before, but why did you decide to rate Clausen above Bradford? Why do you think pretty much all the mock drafts have it the opposite?
Clausen has played in a pro-system and has been very successful. I give more weight to QBs that have been productive in a pro-system. JC has been getting a bad rap about his leadership and attitude. Clausen playing with a nagging injury all year showed me a lot about his dedication. Most people have no clue how difficult it is for a QB to play with a foot (toe) injury, footwork means everything to a QB. I really like Bradford, just some concerns about playing in a spread offense. IMO, Bradford has a higher risk to be a bust. When I rate players I don't go with the "herd"....I base it off what I've seen.
Yeah I agree with you 100%, I think Clausen will be a better pro qb too, but I've seen way more ND games than Sooners games, so I was just wondering what your reasoning was. The fact that there's talk about him maybe falling like Quinn seems insane to me.
