Not much to argue about. I might re work the corner rankings and I still think Wilson is the best back besides Richardson, other than that it looks good
Since rated players is based on talent and not off the field problems, Floyd>Jeffrey. Besides that though, no real big complaints. Surprised Polk didn't make your top 50 since you picked him over Wilson and Martin.
Really? I have Miller and Doug Martin much higher, in fact, Doug Martin is closing on Lamar Miller fast. I don't dislike Wilson, he's an explosive player.
I like it. My only comments are I am not as high on Doug Martin. I might move Jenkins up about 5 sports I expect Nick Perry to move up to the lower 20s by the end of the combine but I have no problem where he is now. Did Mark Barron drop out of your top 50 before the injury or was he never in it?

Surprised to see Upshaw in the top 10 and Konz at 22. Also I know you were high on Adams after the Senior Bowl but to put him over Martin shows he's come a long way.
Before the Senior Bowl Adams was a borderline Rd 1 pick. I was surprised how well Adams played, it was unexpected on my part. I haven't been a big Jonathan Martin fan, especially after a quiet season, I expected a little more this year.
I mean my view of Miller and Martin are the same as yours on Wilson. I dont dislike either guy. For me my tie breaker is that I think Wilson has more athletic upside than a guy like Miller or Martin
I knew you would eventually come around with, Adams. I am on the same boat as a few other posters in this thread when it comes to Wilson. I really feel he is the second best back in this draft right now. His skill set is better overall in my opinion. He is blazing fast at 200+ lbs, he is actually a really good catcher out of the backfield, big heart who always fights for that extra yard, very crafty in the open field, consistently productive in college, and is a classy guy. He kinda blows in pass protection though from what I've seen, but that is teachable. I truly think he is going to be a great back in the NFL.
I like the ranking spots for sure. I just have a few problems. First, I think Blackmon should be at #2. I love RG3 and IMO he's the next coming of Randall Cunningham but I think Blackmon will be the 2nd best pro in this draft as well as the 1b to Andrew Lucks 1a in terms of being a surefire prospect. Obviously this is just my thought process though. Second, Im surprised you left Zebrie Sanders out. He had an up and down Senior Bowl but I still think his stock is the early to mid second. Maybe he was borderline for you? Im not sure. Just wondering what happened to him in your rankings. Lastly, Im surprised you have Doug Martin ranked so high. Not that I dont think hes a great prospect but I think the guys you put him ahead of have more potential. Hes impressing in workouts so far and looks very complete but idk maybe Im just not as high on him yet. Good job though, very nice work.
Thanks!! I don't think Blackmon is better than AJ Green, he's close, I expect Green to have the better career. I think we under estimate RG3's talent, he may change the QB position in the NFL. RG3's arm is stronger than over half the QBs in the NFL right now and what he can do with his feet is amazing. I almost rated RG3 higher than Luck. On physical talent there is no better player than RG3 in this draft, it isn't even close. Luck wins out on the mental side of the game, he can read defenses and go thru his progressions extremely well. Sanders has been a little inconsistent, I'm not as high on him as most. I saw some really poor footwork and he was overextending at the Senior Bowl. In fact, I have Nate Potter rated higher than Sanders. I expected the Doug Martin comments it was one of the choices I made that doesn't "follow the herd". It's a shame, if Martin was in the SEC we wouldn't even be questioning his ability. Doug Martin just does everything well, runs hard, catches the ball and blocks his ass off, especially downfield, he's an all around back. I've watched more film on Martin this week and I've become a big fan of his game. IMO, anyone rating Davd Wilson higher than Lamar Miller needs to go back to look at Miller's game film. I like David Wilson, I remember even starting a thread about him last summer/fall. I believe Miller is a better RB and his game suits the NFL better.
Im not necessarily underrating RG3 but I do feel as though he needs time to develop whether that be throwing him into the fire or sitting him for a year. He needs time to learn how to read NFL defenses and adjust from under center, I think playing in a spread offense might effect him in the beginning. I think Blackmon can come in and be immediately effective, similar to AJ Green, obviously not the same productive but close IMO. I'm probably just bias about Sanders since Ive liked him for quiet a awhile and havent looked much at Potter. Hes a smart kid and is also a 4 year starter like Zebrie from what I understand. I think theyre right around the same stock value come draft time. But I like Sanders potential more, but again, Im bias. Lamar Miller is the clear cut #2 back , I agree with you on that. I think I need to see more out of Doug Martin, I always hold judgement until the combine, maybe thats just me but I just want to be impressed. I agree if he was in the SEC he'd be hyped up more but he certainly wouldnt have the same numbers to be honest.
awesome big board. much better than most of the garbage going around on the internet. my only complaint would be not having bobby wagner on that list. i think his nfl ready body and ability to play both ILB and OLB make him a better prospect than a few LBs on that list. i love that you have floyd and jeffery rated above the likes of mercilus and ingram... i really hope that tanny takes the best player available at 16... meaning a guy who can contribute right away, not another project
I would love to draft Blackmon at #16. He would be a perfect complement to Santonio and we would finally have a young receiver who Sanchez can grow with. If im Tanny and he is Avaliable, i run the card up.
Right after we do that, the FBI will be knocking on our war room door demanding to know what blackmail we have on the 15 teams in front of us causing them to pass on Blackmon. There are 4 prospects that have absolutely no chance (as in there is no scenario that is even remotely sane, barring torn ACL at the combine) of being there for us at 16. they are as follows: Luck RGIII Blackmon Kalil You can make obvious arguments for several others (Claiborne comes to mind) as it would be shocking if they were there, but those four will almost assuredly by all gone by pick 6, if not by pick 4. as for the list, surprised you have 3 rbs in the top 28. Ryan Tannenhill at 30? you're obviously higher on him than myself. Stephen Gilmore seems a little low for me at 35. I have him firmly with a first round grade. Brockers is a guy I want to argue is a top 10 prospect on potential. His body of work isnt top 10 level, but his potential (redshirt sophmore!) is sky high. But with the list its hard to stick him in their much higher. He is a guy that I would love to see the Jets draft if he is somehow available at 16. I realize we just drafted Mo Wilk and Ellis a year ago, but Devito only has 1 year left on his deal. Brockers is going to be an animal, and it would make our DL a verifiable strength, bordering on elite status. Think of what the lions did adding Fairley to Suh last year. Fairley was the opposite of a need pick. He was BPA and the inside of their DL is going to be downright filthy for the next decade. Brockers-Pouha-MoWilk would be an astounding 3-4 DL and the youth of it when Ellis develops into the player he should be will make it something special for a long long time.
