I would love to pick Grant up in the mid to late rounds ,, if because of his size he slips through the draft he should be a priority pick up.. there are a couple of videos on him out there ,, this is one.

Did this guy return punts? I didn't see a single one on the footage. With his shiftiness and quick feet and smaller stature, he looks like a natural.

I'm always skeptical of "highlight reals" but he has great vision.

Has never returned a punt. Weird for a guy who runs back so many kicked and is a WR with great hands.

Thanks. That is weird. His build, his shiftiness, and agile feet reminded me of Dave Meggett or someone from the past who was a great PR. If we get the kid, hopefully, that's something he can and would be willing to learn. I think he could be great at it. He looks pretty fearless.

Grant did not return punts. For a few years Texas Tech has had atrousious special teams. They just replaced their special teams coach again this year. They went with the most sure hands on punts. They let the offense move the ball. I would have liked to see him on punts.. He made those LSU dbs look bad. He has a few other videos here is one with some workout video.. He has some hops.

If only he was average height people would go nuts for this guy. Incredibly fast, agile, with solid hands and good vision. Unfortunately he may considered to small for the NFL and could go undrafted (he wasnt even invited to the combine)- if that happens I'd LOVE for us to take a flyer on him, could be a threat as a return man/ situational scat back.

Today was his pro day at Tech.. he evidently torched the 40, and most of his numbers were very good. 4.1 to 4.34 40!!!!! I tried to post a link but it won't take it.

Didn't we already sign that super fast small guy from Pittsburgh though?

The only problem with that is that Archer had his shot with the Steelers and didn't produce. I believe Grant is worth a late round pick I would not want to risk free agency. I would be pissed to see the Pats or Fins land him ahead of us. There is a Nola site with the pro day breakdown but I can't link it for some reason.

Heard he got invited to workouts for Dolphins, Chargers, Colts and been contacted by 49rs and Texans.. Welker also from TT was initially signed by the Chargers. We got to get him in for a workout, if not just for his return abilities. We have no one!

    1. Supposedly his agent is looking for a 49rs offer (after draft) to see him in Chip Kelly's system.

Grant supposedly has private work out set up with Jets.

His name is Jakeem, not Tad.
