I'm laughing my ass off at the comments Here. Mainly due to the panic and the awful game right now.

Yes, we have a 3rd stringer in, but for 2 straight games it just feels like we're not prepared as a team. So, the head coach gets the blame.

What did the jets see that made them think this was a good hire?

The same thing they have seen with every other hire and every draft pick in recent history

EXACTLY why you don't throw it twice on 3rd and 4th downs with 2 to go and Bell on your team.
This guy is a gold plated moron. The throw before the half was also right out of idiot school.
This game should be no worse than 13-6 right now.

Saw every game he coached in Miami and HATED the hire.
He was a loser there, and he'll be a loser here.
Get him away from Sam ASAP.

I will gladly sign for 0-16 if it guarantees me that Gase will be gone.

Even if the Jets were healthy, the Browns would have more talent. It's hard to blame Gase.

You can't do much on offensive when your offensive line can't block.

I don’t know how good or bad Gase is but this team will rival the 95 Kotite team as one of the worst in my lifetime and will likely finish the same 3-13. Clearly Kotite’s 1-15 team belongs in its own category.

Forget what the team saw; would the guys here who have been supporting Gase from the time he was hired tell us why?

Don't just tell us he deserves a chance, tell us what you saw then, or since, that causes you to support him unconditionally and heap scorn on those who don't.

I really don't think I can blame Gase for this shitfest tonight.

Due credit should go straight to Magic Mike. [Yes. I know. A healthy serving of Crow is on my plate. Willing to eat it extra crispy with slaw.]

Have you seen how Vernon and Garrett have been flying in to the backfield all game long? Kelvin Beachum is a fucking trash. So is Shell. Against legitimate pass rushing threats, they are hopelessly inadequate. Especially Beachum. He's been getting beat all game long PLUS he's been holding Garrett. Why he is still a starting for any NFL franchise is beyond my understanding. You cannot blame that on Gase. It is on Magic Mike.

As for Gase - I think he has shown enough already with Falk in at QB. Even with Siemian, the offense looked completely dead. Falk started hitting deep balls once he got in - so I don't think it's that far of a stretch to imagine what Sam will do next year, with one year of experience in Gase's system.

P.S. I was not a Gase supporter. I was MacCagnan supporter, of which I am ashamed.

Gase is not a new coach. This is the same shit dolphins fans bitched about. Uncreative, conservative, boring. We have a young qb and we’re gonna waste at least 2 of his years with this shit.

Also for those of you saying it’s the third stringer, ps guy, how were things going with the actual starter tonight? Negative passing yards. At least falk doesn’t look like a deer in the headlights.

No team wins in the NFL without a top QB who is healthy. Any comments regarding coaches etc. are silly.

Why not let Falk throw the hail mary at the end.

See if he has the arm strength to make the throw.

Ballsless call. Game was over anyway let the guy throw the hail mary!

Falk definitely looked better then Siemen tonight. High completion percentage but so many passes at the LOS.

The announcers called out Gase a few times during the broadcast for not getting anything going as a supposed offensive savant.

I’d like to see what he could do with an OL that wasn’t an unmitigated disaster. The again, he opted to leave Garret unblocked what, 5 times tonight?

I’m not mad or upset at this point, I’m intrigued. How bad will it get? How much worse could our offense be then last years? How soon before the defense starts calling out the offense after the losses start to pile up?

At this point, if your goal is to actually win a football game over the next month ... you find the best option QB who graduated from college in the last 5 years and just run some modified version of the wishbone. I'm serious.
