It's obviously getting a lot of attention right now, so with what we know, would you trade up to number 1 for Winston?

This isn't whether Tampa Bay would or not, the question is on the basis that they would.

No, I would trade up for Mariota though.

I wouldn't trade up for either of them. All we'd be doing is bringing a young QB onto a team with not enough talent to compete unless they turned into Andrew Luck or Peyton Manning. Both of those guys get blown out pretty regularly in the postseason also because their team isn't good enough to win in the tournament and they can't do it alone.

If Winston somehow fell to 6 and wasn't in handcuffs or likely to be I'd draft him. If Mariota fell I'd trade the pick if the Eagles wanted it enough to give up a good deal. I'd go find a star at WR or DE/OLB if Kelly wasn't ready to wheel and deal.

Mariota's an option QB who made a lot of things happen with his legs. His adjustment to the NFL is no sure thing and the injury chance will be fairly high, just like it was with Michael Vick and RGIII.

We would have to mortgage our future to get to 1. We would not to get to 3.

If Winston somehow fell to five and we could move up for almost nothing to lock him up then sure.

Otherwise we can get a dominant pass rusher or pro bowl WR at #6 and possibly 2+ very good players by trading down.

I would trade up for both but I'd rather we trade up for Mariota.

Plus it won't cost as much and besides I can't see TB trading out of that No. 1 spot for any price.

We have too many needs to mortgage the farm, I say no.

I'm higher on Mariota than I am Winston but think they are both top prospects. I'm pretty sure Winston will go 1 but if Mariota did then I would trade up for Winston. We are in the drivers seat to get the 2nd QB. I feel we need to capitalize on that and ensure one of them.

No. We have too many issues to start trading away picks.

i wouldn't even take Winston at the 6, so certainly would not trade up for him.

really hoping tampa takes him off the board..

Mariota tempts me a little. I saw him throw the other day and his arm strength looked better than I thought it was. But it is important that they get a pretty surefire impact guy in their first draft and in the 6 hole. I am not sure I want to trade to 20. Maybe to the Rams slot?

Stop with that..Idzik had 19 picks in 2 years and where are they now? Who knows if this bum will be any better. If there is a player that everybody feels is a franchise player then do what you need to do to get him, it certainly sounds like that is what Philly plans to do.

Successful teams build through the draft..
Idzik and our scouting department had no clue how to evaluate talent. We need to have faith that Mac will

Why? And as far as that goes Tannenbaum was always moving up and the Jets teams under him were 10,000 times better than they have been in the last two years. Besides, he will have 60 million dollars to spend on players to fill all those holes.

You want to give up 2 1st round picks and more for a QB you aren't sure will be a great player and also has been accused of rape and stealing ?
    I don't

I would rather do that then draft a fat body lineman I can get anywhere or a wide receiver I'm drafting way too high at 6. I bet Kelly gives up that and more to get the guy he wants and who will have the better team? OH and Winston isn't the QB I would want but only time will tell on who has the better career.
