Would you trade sanchez and 1st round pick to move up a couple of spots in the draft to get RG3.
I hear the Peyton talk but why keep renting Qbs for 1 year... even if we get Peyton its going to kill Sanchez development/confidence their for we should get RG3 to learn from Peyton.
    thoughts?

What team in their right mind would give up a #1 pick for Sanchez?

No gm would be dumb enough to do this.

Anyone who would need a qb would rather just draft rg3

why would the Jets be dumb enough to get rid of a talented young QB AND a 1st rd pick for another QB who may or may not be good?

  6. Not that I think this scenario is a good one..but it seems like any scenario a Jet fan raises to improve the team & you have to step in with something to shoot it down. I guess in your "Bully's world" no matter what the Jets do they are screwed for the next 15 years,Right?

Jets could trade for Demarcus Ware and Dez Bryant for a 7th round pick and you'd be making injury predictions & locker room cancer proclamations.

Probably because they question whether he is talented.

    No

    Franchise quarterbacks aren't traded

they mature, especially when aided by the removal of the roadblocks to their development, in the case of the Jets franchise quarterback, the Son of Marty and his predictable schemes that deemphasized Sanchez' proven natural strengths (rolling out, throwing deep and throwing on the move) and demanded that he become a stand in the pocket dink and dunker

I care a little about Sanchez only because I don't want the org to go nuts on FA signings and doom the team for 10 years.

But I want this kid to do great and win 2 SBs for the Jets just so we can tell these impatient naysayers to GFY.

Stop with the Sanchez bashing. Let him develop. Peyton Manning would have been run out of NYC on a rail if he was drafted here. He would never had made it to year 5 in NYC. Imaging our year 5 QB getting blown out in a WC game 41-0? People would set his house on fire....

Why we would just be calling for his head in year three anyway

So you're going to basically swap 1st round picks and throw in Sanchez..

Who would be dumb enough to do that?

No team that needs a qb is taking Sanchez over RG3 even with the Jets giving up their 1st.

But yes, I would do that trade..

This is one of the dumbest fucking posts I've seen in weeks, and I've read quite a few.

Why the FUCK would we give up a 1st and Dirty, to start ALL over again with a rookie QB?!

Go read some of those articles on a certain 3rd year QB, someone posted...you need to have patience.

You are right, franchise qb's are not traded. And trading Sanchez in no way screws with the general rule because Sanchez is not a franchise qb..
