In a lot of mocks, I'm starting to see Jarrett drop to around low to the 25-31 range, and I can't possibly see how a guy that has all the talents of a top 10 pick with no attitude problems can drop that low. The only "negative" about him is that he doesn't have the "blazing" timed speed that scouts look for, but he can still dominate a game.

I don't know, if he is there at #25, I'd be pretty ticked off if the Jets passed on him

With the lack of success of Mike Williams, taking Jarrett would scare the hell out of me.

Especially cause he's slow, 4.7 range and not very big...

    I pass

I would be open to the idea of taking a WR there...

My top choice would be Robert Meachem though. I wouldn't cry over Jarrett either, but we can get a very good WR in the 2nd. Jason Hill and Craig Davis have good size and speed and should be there when we pick.

And you really can't be scared away from Jarrett because one recent USC WR has been a bust in the NFL... Two completely different players...

What do you mean not very big? He's 6' 5'' 210 and has great hands. I would jump on him.

Without a doubt. When a player like Jarrett drops to #25, there's a 99.9% chance he's the best player on the board. You take him.

Yea i would think it's a good pick. I don't think the 1st round picks are as important as people say and i think that value is somthing to consider. I'm more interested in our round two picks.

If they pass on Dwayne Jarrett, I'd probably just bury my head in my hands for a while, they can't not take him. Then again, I bet the fans of the other teams in our range are saying the same thing.

When I said not that big, I meant not stout 225+ with his size, we all know that to be a wide receiver for Chad you have to be tough as sh*t, cause you are going to take some hits.

If we draft a receiver I want one that will stretch the field, not be at best a red zone threat.

yeah they gotta take jarrett if he slips to 25...he would be our deep threat and coles and cotchery would be possession receivers, just like they are now

Dude, Calvin Johnson's 239 and then it drops off to Dwayne Bowe at 221 and Jarrett is next at 219. He's a big guy.

I know he's not a pure burner, but I don't think you can pass on Jarrett at #25

I've read in a couple of places that besides being slow he also has a maturity problem. You know what that means with this team.

If we take a WR, I'd rather have Dwayne Bowe .. and Ted Ginn would be the best immediate fit because he'll add the element of an explosive homerun hitter out of the slot .. but of course that won't matter if Chad can't hit him in stride with the deep ball, which he probably can't

Jarrett wouldn't fit our offense at all, we need another WR, but it needs to be someone who is a explosive homerun hitter, Jarrett would just be a slower, taller version of WRs we already have

Obviously, we have to take him. But the truth is, he does have some minor character isssues. If anyone saw him against ND i think it was, they saw him showboating all over the place. Just seems like another chad johnson in terms of character, and i can't stand chad. A regular NJ guy
