my team, you start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE & 1 Flex

    QB- Palmer
RB- LJ, Kevin Jones, Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry & Benson
WR- Andre Johnson, Chambers, Coles, Evans, Henry
    TE- Klopfenstein

Obviously I'm hurting at TE with Vernon Davis getting hurt. I could make this trade.

Jamal Lewis & Andre Johnson for Heap & Housh, solve my TE problem & don't downgrade to much at WR. What do you guys think? Yay or Nay??

what is your record?...b/c if you are still competing i would hold out for davis' return
its a close trade though...i think in the short term getting heap would help you if you need it though

I am 2-3 but have scored the third most points in the league. I am scoring alot every week even though I have gotten a measley 3 points total from my TE position in the last 4 weeks combined. I'm trying to give up either Evans or Chambers in place of AJ, not sure he will go for that though..

Do whatever you can to hold on to Andre Johnson! He's an absolute BEAST! If that means not doing that deal and looking for other TE offers than so be it.

i wouldn't make that trade either.. are you sure there are no waiver wire pick ups at TE that are better options? look into that first

Yea, definately check into the wire, you don't want to give up Johnson. Trust me, I've gotten plenty of offers for him, but don't budge unless you're getting a stud at another position that produces alot (unlike TE)

I think I have one of the best WR trios possible: Terrell Owens (3rd round), Roy Williams (4th round), Andre Johnson (6th round). Everyone was ridiculling me for taking 3 WR in a row, especially Williams (shitty Detroit, etc) and Johnson (Who's gonna pass to him, etc.). But I got the best of everyone, it has definately paid off.

do not make this trade, heaps production is bound to slip and eric johnson and d clark are probably waiver availble, that will hold u over until davis comes back...........andre is a beast in a offense that is constanly passing

I didn't do the deal for all the reasons you mentioned, didn't want to give up Johnson. There are no TEs available, it was a 12 team league with 18 rounds. I'm not panicking about the TE, I'm scoring alot of points every week without any production from the TE position.

I bet Jeremy Stevens would be available b/c he is just coming off an injury. He put up some big numbers last year, as Hasselback loved to throw to him in the redzone.

Nope he is taken, I told you with 12 teams and 18 round draft it is pretty slim pickings as far as FA go. You have to find a hidden gem.
