It's tough. I think I would though. The Bengals went (12-4), lost their starting QB, so plenty of excuses to keep Lewis. He turned around a losing franchise and has made them competitive every year. Still, he is (0-7) in the playoffs and last night's ending is hard to forget. He has been coaching the team since 2003 and has 0 playoff wins. How is that possible? What would you do?

I'd fire Vontaze Burfict and Adam Jones.

I'd give Lewis all the personnel control I could for next year and tell him that this is the year: he either gets it done or the Bengals are moving on to what is next.

Yes, I could see something like that happening.

Get rid of him. No control of that team whatsoever. Could you imagin if that was a big market team and that happened? Dallas.. The jets.. We would be getting destroyed

    Yes, Lewis should be fired.
This problem didn't just pop up this season. The Bengals have been the most undisciplined team in the league for years.
Marv Lewis doesn't make an effort to control his team, You can't blame the owner or GM. The Head Coach is responsible for managing the team in practice and on the field during a game.
Lewis lost control of the team, last night and it's his own fault.

The Bengals have had no success at all between Wyche and Lewis. I think you have to give him another year but make absolutely certain that the discipline problems are a thing of the past.

Maybe you have to move on after 2016 but you have no guarantee you don't go straight back to the bottom of the pile in that division. (Well, it will be hard to snuggle back under the Browns but the Bengals and Browns have managed that feat repeatedly in the past.)

The Bengals have finished in front of the Steelers in 3 of the last 4 seasons. That's reason enough not to upset the status quo unless you are certain you will gain by doing so.

If you think they win last night if dalton's healthy you keep him.

^ I agree. I think you have to look at his body of work in pieces since he's been around such a long time.

    Dalton wins that game.

If the difference is Dalton, which I agree that AJ was terrible, then Andy carries them to win despite Lewis. Talent over Coaching here

Haha yeah. Not just last night though. Imagine the Jets keeping a coach for 12 years with no playoff wins?!?! Rex got kicked out the door with 4 playoff wins and 4 straight missed playoffs (Rightfully so).

Nothing from his past would make me think he would beat Big Ben and the Steelers last night, but hard to say as Dalton had his best year. Him choking yesterday would not surprise me though. Not sure that is a big enough factor. Maybe it is though.

Depends on who replaces him. Hue Jackson? No. Tom Coughlin? Yes.

After the game last night it was a definitive yes, but now I think he should get next year but at the very least win a round in the playoffs to return.

You don't fire someone after a 12-4 season.......He has made the playoffs the last 5 seasons in a row.If the RB doesn't fumble with 1:18 left they win the game. This isn't the NY Jets where they fire the coach every 3-5 years and then wonder why we haven't won a Superbowl since 69.The best teams in the league who have had alot of success all have one thing in common they have QBs and coaches that have been there for a long time

The Bengals haven't had any success. They are WINLESS under Lewis in the playoffs. Lewis now holds the record over Jim Mor for the WORST playoff record in history of the NFL. That team imploded yesterday. They are a bunch of reckless thugs who cannot be controlled. Lewis has to go.

Lol he has a 12-4 record and has 4-5 division titles in a tough division.Winning records 6 out of the last 7 years.....Find me a Jets fan that wouldn't sign up for that.Fire him and replace him with who?You obviously don't realize how hard it is to win in this league. They had the game won without there starting QB ,The fumble cost them the game penaltys or not

His playoff record is worth firing. If you can't get over the hump for as long as he has had time and as many different teams he's coached. Your time has come to move on

He can't control his players. He is 0-7 in the playoffs. It is time for change.

No, but I would fire Bill O'Brien who inexplicably claimed he "never considered" a QB change yesterday. He needs to be considering these types of things.
