Simple Poll/Question. I'm thinking of getting an Authentic one myself. What do you guys think?

    It's a sure thing he's getting #60 right?

Don't turn this into another one of your Vinny shrine topics. Even my love goes only so far.

There were only two jerseys I actually wanted this offseason. A chrebet jersey or a Brick jersey.

I got the Authentic away Chrebet jersey.

I think it's too early to buy any rookie's jersey at this point. IMO, a player's jersey should only be bought after he has proved something on the field.

Generally I only buy LB jerseys. Even though I really pulled for D'Brick prior to the draft and he comes from Freeport (where I lived and taught HS for a few years). Vilma was the only rookie jersey I ever bought. So no, not yet

My collection now includes a signed #7 Boomer that my son bought at a charity auction for my 75th birthday party back in January.

Personally, i wouldnt get a lineman's jersey... especially for that kind of money.

But if you do, wait until the season/pre-season starts just in case he changes his number (like Vilma from 53 to 51)

I like it because it's different. A lot of people here are saying they "would" get one, but I bet the number of people who actually go for it are slim. Uniqueness is key in jersey selection for me.

Well, Dino, you really have nothing to lose. Even if he's a total bust that jersey will still look good hanging next to your Kevin Swayne jersey.

I buy whatever the hey is on sale at Modell's in the Boys' Dept. for yours truly, usually for $24.99 on a bad day. Still got my S. Moss jersey. The replica of a replica iron on decal deal. Yep.
