Just a fun little article I came across for the worst 50 NFL QB's of all time (though it doesn't really include much of anyone pre 1960). I can't really argue with who's on this list, I could make an argument to include a couple other QB's but...

What's depressing is that 7 players on the list were either Jets Starters or Jets backup QB's.

Just posting for fun and debate.

Not nearly as depressing as it would be if we were Raiders fans.

That list is terrible. Kordell, Tommy Maddox, Fiedler, Sanchez do not deserve to be on there at all. The idea is just completely absurd. A worst QB list would be full of shit QBs that nobody has heard of so they had to find better ones with worse, more memorable, moments to get people to read the article.

Pat White was terrible. His hands were too small to grip the football. Thanks Parcells!

Obviously, JaMarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf, Akili Smith and Tim Couch will be on the list. I tried looking at the list a couple minutes ago but saw it is one of those things where you have to scroll through them all. I don't have time for that.

I was at that game... probably the worst two offenses I have ever seen. And the only reason we won that game is b/c we eventually put in McElroy who played pretty well.

I'm pretty sure that if one of the QBs on that list were NOT on the list, the OP would not have created this thread.

Sanchez should have been in the top Ten.

I'm still shocked Gabbert is below Sanchez on that list. Gabbert never did a God damn thing in the NFL.

I would have posted that list regardless of who was on the list. And yes there are a lot of worse QB's in a lot of respects than what's on the list. But I think their criteria were guys who were played really bad for long periods of time or came in with a lot of hype and expectation (Ryan Lief for example) and just bombed.

BTW there are very few worst QB lists that wouldn't have that certain QB on them when the list is 50 or more QB's all time. But personally I wouldn't have him on an all time worst list after only 4 years....worst active? that list I would have him on that list, but not worst all time. at this point in time.
