The clear answer is Philly, and it holds true in every single sport. Phillies, Flyers and Sixers fans are also the worst in their respective sports,
Philly for sure. Sure, Jets fans boo their guys, but it's always a case where the guys more than have it coming. Eagles fans are just mean.
If you could define "worse" in what way that may open up the discussion. I've never conceived of Cowboy fans being "worst" in any way so no idea what you are getting at.
I actually like the environment that Philly creates for opposing teams and fans. It’s not supposed to be a cake walk, it’s supposed to be a hostile environment. They’re awful to their own team though amid a lot of success. Dallas fans are just like a punchline at this point. It’s hilarious seeing them get all hyped up during the playoffs.
Dallas fans are the opposite of Eagles fans. Soft-bellied homer central. They would appreciate a Super Bowl less than most fans.
For emotional fragility, you can never go wrong with Boston sports fans. I used to think Yankees fans were a bunch of entitled, whining nitwits, but this scene is off the hook.
I voted Cowboys because they have an enormous amount of frontrunner fans with zero ties to the area they play in. Eagles fans are mean but they're actually Eagles fans.
Trea Turner??? Not for nothing I could never see Jets fans banding together to cheer up a struggling player. PHI fans are assholes to opponents fans by a mile, but not to their own.
You seem to have fandom confused with group therapy. NFL fans pay big money to be entertained, not to be required to offer mental rehabilitation to highly paid professionals in need of overcoming their personal challenges.
I was responding to someone who said PHI fans are meaner to their own players than Jets fans. Thats just not true at all. I don’t expect Jets fans to cheer a player to success, we’re assholes. But we’re assholes who have been well trained in spotting incompetence, usually much earlier than teams who have had success like the Eagles. The Eagles fans are full right cunts to opposing teams and fans of the opponent, but they’re not to their own.
Having lived in the Philly area, I can say that most Eagles fans are pretty cool...at least in the Philly suburbs. Fans in the city itself? Yeah, that's another story. But that's just an extension of Philadelphia culture in general. Dallas' fanbase is insufferable, elitist, and entitled. Despite not having been to the Super Bowl in nearly 3 decades, they still do the whole America's Team thing and act like they are the flagship franchise of the NFL.
Dallas fans are annoying at worst. Philly fans generally are absolute trash. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk
That's true but the front-running Cowboys fans have sat through decades of mediocrity and still supported the team. I think that says something in the very least. No championship game in almost 30 years meanwhile the Eagles fans have been to multiple Super Bowls and many championship games yet still treat their team like they are garbage. Cowboys fans are lovable losers while Eagles fans are ungrateful winners.
