I don’t think we will be in the Cam or Sheduer running. With a weak QB class, and two QBs mentioned and practically no one else, maybe Millroe, you have to think they are going 1 and 2. We will beat the Jags and I don’t think the Raiders or Giants, maybe even Jags without Lawrence now, are also winning another game. With that being said, it doesn’t mean we won’t address QB, because we need to. I alluded to this in earlier posts but I am a big fan of Kyle McCord, QB Syracuse. First off, the mental toughness to get thrown under the bus at OSU and to then come out and throw for 4k yards with way less talent than OSU and probably most ACC teams is insane. He does not do as well with pressure but he has a live arm, quick throws, knows where to go with the ball and is a gamer. No idea where he lands but he’s my guy for the draft. Seems like he’s round 3-4 but who knows. Him, Jordan Travis, and a vet (not Rogers) is the move. Now, with our first pick, ideally would have the big board as Tetatoria McMillian (WR UA), Mason Graham (DT UM), or Will Campbell (OT LSU) I feel as if Davanate Adams best days are behind him. Just doesn’t look to be the same player. We really need a WR 2 if we don’t have an elite QB imo. DT is not a huge need in the sense a veteran can easily plug that position next to our highest paid player on D (Quinnen). And OL…Moses is older and Carter Warren seems to be a depth piece. I do think our OL play is solid this year with an immobile QB. Finally, for those asking about DE, we have Johnson and McDonald. We aren’t spending another on a De. Need a depth piece. If I was GM, I’d trade back but.
