Who would you rather have on the New York Jets in 07?

Spencer, but neither in the first round and I'm not sure I would pick either with our first 2nd rounder yet either.

Well it looks as if the Jets have an interest in Spencer. They had an extended chat with him today. I think he will be their first pick. The guy is having a great week. He blew by Levi Brown on one on one drills. This is the "Demarcus Ware" type OLB we need to get a constant pass rush.

Neither is all that impressive to me. In my mind the dropoff between these guys and Moss/Moses is a big one.

bleh on moss. he can be a headcase somewhere else. and moses is a top 15 pick

id be surprised if either one is available come our pick. spencer is looking very very good though he looked great in practice yesterday.

im not huge on taking an OLB in the 1st rd. id like to go for Justin Blalock/Carriker(prolly top 20 after senior bowl)/Dwayne Bowe

I'm not a big fan of either, but if forced to choose it's Spencer.

Still, after Moss and Moses (like GH said) there is a huge dropoff in 3-4 OLB prospects.

And why is everyone here so down on Moss? He's everything you want in an OLB prospect. Size, speed, explosiveness, playmaking ability. He could be the Ware/Taylor needed in a 3/4.

I think I would prefer Woodley. Physical talent their about the same but Woodley is a heady player who was a leader on a fantastic defense.

Purdue's Defense was about 110 out of 117 D1 teams.

Woodley was a leader on one of the top defenses in the nation.

    Case Closed.

Neither, I want Quentin Moses or Adam Carriker with the 25th pick.

Well maybe just maybe if you cross your fingers, wear a lucky rabbits foot, find as much homeless people as you can feed them, and drink 4 egg whites every morning. Mayve one of those guys might drop.
