So who wants to make the thread this week? You know, the one that shows the scenario of us getting in the playoffs on other teams losses. Figure how who would have to lose every Sunday if we lose out the rest of the way.
heres how the Jets can make the playoffs. this is a realistic scenario without getting any help. @ NE - W @ BUF - W @ TB - W vs ATL - W @ IND - W vs CIN - W
if we can petition to be placed in the big east and alabama lose and than beats florida we may be able to leap tcu to face texas in the bcs.......
looking at it optimistically, the ne, indy, and cincy games are losses. losing washington and jenkins took away the slim safety net that starting a rookie qb required.:shit:
one of more realistic statements i have read this season. hopefully the organization learns from the risk. jil
ok this is what it will probably look like @ NE - L @ BUF - W @ TB - L vs ATL - L @ IND - L vs CIN - W ok this is what i hope it looks like (within reality) @ NE - W @ BUF - W @ TB - W vs ATL - W @ IND - L vs CIN - W
Honestly there is 1 maybe 2 more wins on that schedule... this week is just another crushing loss. Realistically I didn't have hopes for the playoffs before teh season but the way we started gave everybody false hope that we were a top 5 team. We're definately not that good but we're not bottom 5 either...probably like in the 16- 22 range at this point. If we're builing for the future these close games you'd have to think with more experience they win next year or the year after but it sucks to keep losing close games against teams we should beat....especially at home.
some dipshit will still get his/her hopes up around wednesday and start making the scenario threads. Just fukin sad. This team is sad. Thank you Yankees.
