List the draft or offseason you wish we could have.

    1-Jake Long T Michigan
    2-Ahtyba Rubin NT Iowa St.
    3-Roy Schuening G Oregon St.
    3-Shawn Crable LB Michigan
    4-Jacob Hester HB LSU
    5-John Greco G Toledo
    6-Justin Harper WR Virginia Tech
    7-Joe Fields S Syracuse

If we sign a Passrushing LB in FA, this would be ideal IMO.

If Jake Long is not on the board, I would like to see them trade down, especially if McFadden is available and the value of the pick thereby increases.

Ideally, I'd like to see all the day one picks (if kept) spent on the offensive and defensive lines. If the Jets trade down, they can probably get Clady or Otah and a total workhorse like Kevin Smith or Ray Rice at halfback as the heir apparent to Thomas Jones. A huge two-gap DT (not Okam though, has bust written all over him) would be nice if there's one out there to get. They're also desperately in need of a guard.

Flyers on athletic WR, KR and LB have proven the smart play historically in the later rounds.

Why do you say that about Okam? I've never actually seen him play so I'm not disagreeing. Just curious. Based on his measurables, he sounds like a reasonably good fit for what the Jets are looking for.

Okam is playing as a 4-3 DT... Who really knows if he can play the 3-4 NT for this Jets defense?

Reminds a lot of Gabe Watson. Great measurables, illustrious college career, horrible work ethic, horrible motor. Watson hasn't exactly been ripping it up in the NFL, though it's too early to just write him off. Hate to spit out a cliche, but I'd rather have the Chris Long or Zach Thomas type of guy-- somebody who is well undersized for his natural position yet has ridiculous intangibles-- rather than Randy Moss or John Abraham, who are awesomely talented yet don't have championship attitude.
